After months and months of putting off getting my peacoat dry cleaned and months and months of ignoring the ever-expanding ripping lining, I finally decided to find a place that could handle both issues during my spring break. I did some Googling and Custom Flare fit the bill! I really appreciate how accommodating they were — I only had a few days before leaving the area to head back to school and I had severely underestimated how long it would take to completely replace the inner lining of my coat. They worked with me and my timeframe and were able to get my coat completed before I left the state. The lining is even nicer than the original lining that came with the coat! I will definitely be using Custom Flare again

One axiom I lean on: you get what you pay for. So forget about those $ 1.99/lb. dry cleaners and buck up a little extra to have a your $ 100 shirt cleaned, sewed, pressed or whatever else you gotta do to get the most mileage out of your spendy threads. I’ve had dresses hemmed, jackets cleaned, buttons sewn on, zippers reattached(I can’t believe I just admitted that), ripped skirts patched up. The gals at Custom Flare can do it all and you can tell they care about you and your clothes. My family has been going here for about a decade but when my parents moved to Center City it didn’t make sense for them, geographically. The gals were heartbroken to hear that my father wouldn’t be back. I can’t stress enough how sweet they are. And in all the years they’ve handled our clothes, I’ve only retrieved one jacket with a note attached: «We’re sorry. We’ve tried and tried but we find that the stains on this garment cannot be removed without possible injury to the color or fabric. This has been called to your attention so that you will know it has not been overlooked.» So what, it was a manufactured message from a company that mass-produces random items? It’s the thought that counts.
