Friendly’s

The food is mediocre at its best. This review isn’t about the food, however. The service was awful. With kids, it was especially terrible. We were ready to order and that took a while. Once we ordered, it was like we didn’t exist. The waitress didn’t stop by or tell us that the kitchen was backed up. We had no crackers, etc to help tide anyone over while they took 45 minutes to get us food. The manager barely apologized for the wait then disappeared.

Quick service, good food (for a diner type restaurant), and great customer service. Our waitress, Jesse, was wonderful!

Renovated, clean and «Friendly». We haven’t been here for a while but enjoyed our visit. Good selection, very tasty. We’ll be back!

I brought a large group of teenagers here and our waitress Kayla handle it like a pro wonderful service with a smile. Breakfast and lunch items were good, as expected, but really waiter made our day!

Friendlys suck. No matter where. No matter what time of day. The staff sucks. The food sucks. Décor sucks. It all sucks. The portions are small and sloppily thrown on the plate. It’s just disgusting. No wonder they’re all closing.

Is there a hostess here? Not sure. Waited 10 minutes to be seated while 8 people walked by including 2 managers. How hard is it to grab two menus and seat people? Two girls were standing in the serving aisle, doing their hair (GROSS) and just staring at us.
When we finally got seated we had to wait another 15 minutes for someone to come by and say hi and take our drink orders. I can’t believe that, when your entire restaurant is empty with only 3 tables seated, with 8 people staffed it took 15 minutes for drink orders to be taken!
Finally, when my food came, I had asked for a plain hot dog. It came with relish and mustard and onions, and of course, two long strands of hair. Where did that come from? Oh yeah, probably from the girls that do their hair in the service aisle.
This place is disgusting and the managers don’t care at all. The bathrooms are a mess, tables are always sticky, and the staff is terrible. Save yourself some time and just drive over to the Friendly’s in Cinnaminson.

I liked this friendly’s came here late one night after me and my girlfriend had broken up to make myself feel better by binge eating some ice cream you know how real men handle break ups. The ice cream sundaes were really good made just the perfect way with the perfect mix ins and they have more flavors and mix ins then you could possibly imagine. The waitress was very friendly and also quick didn’t have to wait long for anything at all. Granted there was literally no one there but either way quick service, friendly service, and really good food. I would absolutely come back here if i needed to or if I wanted to.

Not friendly at all. Not only was there bad service, but there was no service at all…
20 minutes to wait for ice cream sundae. It came as a soup, already melted on the plate and oozing. on the table.. .Really?
Coffee came as weak dishwater tasting. I’m not kidding, even Starbucks is better than this. And the server set down all of the mugs on one side of the table for us to «pass down». That was just great!!!
Sent the coffee back, and waited 10 minutes for a replacement.
I would have complained about the sundae, but what’s the use seeing how they could spit in the next one.
On top of that, the whole place was empty, yet there were like 10 front of house teenage employees running all over the place. Overstaffed much?
Even the Diner up the street is better with their service and desserts, and that’s saying something.

Came here with family. Tried to give it a shot as I had not been here in a few years and the new Friendly’s commercials convinced me to give it a shot.
Service: It was ok, not the best in the world. Little things like attention to detail goes along way. For example, I ordered a sundae with hot fudge and sprinkles. When it arrived, alas, no sprinkles. Not huge but it shows a lack of attention to detail.
Food: It was halfway decent. I got the chilli dog and waffle fries. The fries were good. The dog was good. The chilli was meh. The ice cream as mentioned was good despite being sprinkle less.
I went into the bathroom and was disgusted. It look liked it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. After walking out, I suddenly didn’t have to go anymore.
This place needs work before I come back. I can’t really recommend.

the kids love it. as long as you know what youre gunna get when you go here. i am not sure if they 1) train all their waitresses to disappear for what seems like hours on end, or 2) they may not train them at all. other than the fact that you might not be able to get napkins, a drink refill, ketchup, etc for about 15 minutes at a time, this place is fine. the fribble shakes are yum. the food is kid friendly. the service and quality though is somewhat inconsistent. they always have coupons in the ads.

super sad they got rid of the mushroom sausage super melt on the breakfast menu! :(sad face. please please please bring it back!
other than that, really enjoy coming here for breakfast~ very relaxing atmosphere, great spot to hit on a lazy sunday.
home fries are a must! crispy on the outside, soft on the inside– yum!
