Redstone was an absolutely fabulous dining experience and they scored big with me on my first visit. Everything in the restaurant is made to order and cooked fresh. With that said, you’re going to pay for that quality and it’s very much with it. I absolutely love the dimly lit dining area with modern décor. The dark brick and wood gives it a nice homely feel. You can see the grill in the interior where your food is being prepared. The host staff and servers are very polite and very knowledgeable. My wife and I went in on Valentine’s and made reservations about two weeks in advance. I don’t know if it is norm, but this place was packed to the brim. I was happy that we made reservations as the wait time for walk ins was 80 – 90 minutes. We arrived about 5 minutes late, though we called in advance to inform and reservation wait times were only 15 minutes. So since we had to wait a bit and brave the swinging door from outside we sat at the bar and order a couple of drinks. I had the house drink, the Redstone Doli($ 10) — which is made with aged pineapples and New Amsterdam Vodka. It’s a simple tasty cocktail with a lot of kick. The aged pineapples are visible in big jars right on the bar top. The Mrs. enjoyed a Bellini($ 10) — which is made with champagne, white peach, and Peach Schnapps. It was very nice, with just the right bit of sweetness. For a starter we elected to have the Jerk Chicken Fondue($ 15) — which is made with spicy grilled jerk marinated chicken, sourdough croutons, apples, red grapes and of course smoked gouda fondue. This was absolutely delicious and I kept the fondue for my main course to dip with, because it was absolutely delicious. The chicken was made with a caring hand and burst with flavor. The croutons were the perfect texture. Not too hard and crunchy, not too soft. A very nice consistency. As an entrée I went with the Pan Seared Swordfish($ 33) — which is made with a brandy-garlic crust, stir fried vegetables, with Asian sesame vinaigrette and ginger cashew couscous. The swordfish was absolutely divine, thick and juicy and nearly made me divorce salmon as my favorite fish. I had a side of Garlic Mashed Potatoes($ 6) which fit nicely with my meal. The veggies were nice and the couscous was nearly addicting. The lady in my life went for the Signature Fillet Mignon($ 42) — which was served with garlic mashed potatoes and vegetables. You couldn’t ask for a better 10oz cut of meat. It was juicy and tender, cooked to a perfect medium rare with no blood trail whatsoever. Just an amazing piece of meat that I was nearly jealous that I didn’t order. We paired our meal with a bottle of Benvolio Pinot Grigio($ 35), which worked nicely with our meal, though a red would have really brought out the flavor of that fillet and is even said to pair quite nicely with swordfish since it is such a meaty kind of fish. With all said and done, my belly was happy and carefree about the final tabulation and we left a nice 18% tip for our excellent server Moira who was absolutely attentive, knowledgeable and pleasant. She gave us just the right amount of attention and made us feel at home without smothering us. I gander that we’ll be back at Redstone.

Amazing! My husband and I visited Redstone for the first time last night to celebrate Valentine’s Day. We chose Redstone after a recommendation from a co-worker. We made a reservation and when we arrived 20 minutes early they told us that reservations were running 20 – 30 minutes late. We were disappointed but chose to wait in the car. Luckily our reservation was ready only 4 minutes late, yay! I had the cedar plank salmon which was to die for, I could eat it for every meal. My husband had the short rib gnocchi and he really enjoyed it. I wasn’t as impressed with the cornbread as I had hoped after seeing so many great reviews. I believe it had green peppers in it? I don’t know for sure but my husband and I don’t prefer those. Overall, great experience!

Sorry guys. They refunded me $ 150 of gift cards because I refused to eat there after knowing of five cases where people fell ill from their chicken being undercooked. Not worth it for me. I’ll be drinking their stoli doli’s when I’m nearby but that’s about it.

Great ambiance. Ordered the: SIGNATUREPRIMEDIP, Sliced prime rib, horseradish mayo, Swiss cheese, crispy onion strings and French onion au jus. This was amazing, great taste, soft bread, and dip. Looking forward to trying it again. Definitely recommend this place to try.

I’ve been here twice. The first was for lunch. My fiancé and I sat at the bar. I got the Rotisserie Chicken Chopped and a glass of wine. It was delicious! They pour a decent sized glass of wine, which is nice. I don’t have pics from that day. Last week we returned for an early dinner. I had the Cedar Plank Salmon. It did not disappoint. I would definitely order this again. While we waited to be seated, we got a drink at the bar. I had a sea salt carmel apple martini. I love Carmel and I love apple martinis so I thought it was a great drink. Pretty sweet though… I wouldn’t want more than one. Over all, good atmosphere, enjoyable time. We would return again.

We went for my dads birthday and he loves the place but I am gluten free and vegan so I was a little worried what to eat. We arrived about 6:42 for a 7pm reservation and checked in. The older woman greeting was really rude initially and said it was only 6:30 and they hands us a pager and said they had to wait. Also being in the business I felt it was very tacky for the hosts to be not in uniform and to be wearing regular clothing. It breaks up the environment and doesn’t look as classy. Also when being seated we were not greeted the host just said«follow me»!! She didn’t even seat us with a beverage or special menu! Although they need help in the host department the service is great! I had the server Ian and he was outstanding he picked up the pieces and got all the menus we needed and went above and beyond accommodating my needs. He had the chef prepare lettuce wraps for me and I had an assortment of sides like baked potatoes, asparagus, and green beans. He checked up on us to make sure everything was great and our drinks were never empty. He did a fabulous job!!! Thank you so much for all the hospitality at your restaurant. Overall my family enjoyed their time and service was great !! The host department could use some improvement but the service, food quality, and beverages were outstanding.

I love Redstone! I’ve been here countless times and their meals have never disappointed me. Please go for brunch on Sunday’s. Their never ending breakfast is honestly the only way to go. It’s delicious. I’ve never had a bad meal here. Beautiful seating outside when the weather is nice too.

I have been here mostly with clients. They have a decent menu with a lot of choices and is priced just right for what they are. The bar area is big and the bartenders are very attentive. In the warmer months they have a nice outside bar area as well.

5-stars because I will go back, even though I didn’t love all my selections on this visit. I based much of it on what other Unilocalers liked, and let’s be honest — taste is a pretty personal thing. Redstone is an imposing venue, the stone façade looking very much like a polished casual place that you must visit. And that’s exactly what I found inside. I sat at the bar and was delighted to find lots of craft beer selections. I always try the local beer when offered. Next I ordered the Lodge Cornbread with maple butter, which was delicious. There was enough to share, but I managed to polish most of it off by myself! Next was the Fig & Prosciutto flatbread, which was a little heavy on the balsamic glaze for my taste, but I’d order it again, maybe just ask them to back off on it a little bit, or get it on the side. Finally, the Braised Short Ribs… oh yeah, don’t miss this one. It melted in my mouth with Umami. I’m still wishing Redstone was closer to my home — I’d be a regular!

Have been here many times before for excellent dinners with the Mrs., but this was the first time we came for brunch. Had known about brunch for a while, but was unsure due to my own selfish opinion that, «they’re a steakhouse. how good can brunch be at a steakhouse?» Answer, really good. The weather was on our side this morning, so the Mrs. and I sat outside on the terrace patio. A complimentary mimosa? Sure! Why not. If you’re not into the orange juice scene, you can just get sparkling wine too. Brunch items vary, but cover most bases. Eggs, french toast, omelets and chef specials, including steak and eggs(steakhouse, duh). The chef special was a fritatta with egg whites, arugula(something green), goat cheese, bacon and gouda cheese. Served with toast and hash browns. All in all a great experience. Will definitely return.

I’m giving it 4 stars because its somewhere in between 3 and 4 from my experience. Great menu, but I felt a bit underwhelmed. Could have been very impressed by my crab & corn salad, but instead it was just decent. Service was good. People seemed friendly enough. Food seems of good quality. Overall nothing that wows me and I don’t have enough disposable income to make this a place I would go back to without a weird reason.

Had been meaning to come for awhile and was glad that they could accommodate me last minute on a Saturday. Ambiance is nice inside and dress is casual. I would compare the food selection to iron hill, in that it’s a place I would want to come for a burger and drink. Then again let’s be honest; burgers are my favorite so I would eat one just about anywhere :) We ordered cornbread with maple butter as an app, it was kind of strange. Didn’t realize it was a spicy cheesy cornbread, so it wasn’t bad just didn’t expect it. I ordered the short rib burger which was good but didn’t change my life. I would eat it again but it’s not memorable. I feel like the burger game is strong in south jersey, many options for a good burger and this didn’t make top 5. Overall I would go again, I wish they would turn the lights on a bit more so I could see my boyfriend while we talked lol.

Wait time to order was a little long, but it is Saturday night. We didn’t have to wait for a table for 4. Halibut is AMAZING, Lobster bisque is delicious!

I stopped in on a weeknight with some co-workers for a few cocktails. The restaurant itself is large and has a nice atmosphere. The bartenders were attentive and refilled my water without me having to ask. The cocktails I tried were delicious and not watered down. I asked the bartender whether I should go with the white or red sangria and he suggested the red. His suggestion was spot on as the red was not as sweet as the white. The crab dip was pretty decent and a perfect choice to share over cocktails. Taking a look at the menu, it is a little pricey but from my experience with each of my choices in cocktails and appetizer the quality is definitely present so I didnt really mind it. The outside dining area was beautiful and a perfect setting for summer cocktails.

Great food!!! Super filling! We got the cornbread as an appetizer. OMG. This is cornbread done RIGHT! It’s super moist, buttery, crispy edges, cooked in a skillet, and comes with maple butter on the side. Delicious. I ordered a salmon burger. It wasn’t the best I’ve had. But it was still good. It was on a potato bread bub, which added so much to this burger. Too much shredded lettuce for me. My mashed potatoes where everything i wanted them to be. Thick, buttery, and garlicy. Nothing bad to say. They also came in a skillet. Our waitress could have been a tad more attentive, i ran out of water fast, and had to pour from my family’s cups for something to drink. But made up for it by giving my mom free ice cream for her birthday.

I feel like this place has been slowly declining. I used to love it here, and the service used to be fantastic with great food! The last couple times I went to this location the service was very bad between either rude waitstaff, long wait times to order and between ordering and receiving our drinks/food. The food quality has also seemed to go downhill. The last time I came was for my mother’s birthday dinner, I had mentioned that we had a birthday when I made the reservation and then again mentioned it to the hostess halfway through our meal, but at the end of the meal there was nothing special for her birthday…(usually they do a big sparkler on top of the dessert) — so not only was it bad service and poor quality food, she didn’t even get recognized on her birthday, which we wanted for her!

I’m so glad we tried this place out. I was interested in trying it out after reading such great reviews on Unilocal. We went on a Sunday night, and made 6:15 reservations. It was jam packed on a gorgeous Sunday evening yet we were sat promptly once our whole party arrived. Our server was charming, funny and attentive without being annoying or overbearing. We ordered the parmesean shrimp and calamari for an appetizer. The portion was a little small for the price($ 14) with a bunch of fried lemon slices– but it was seasoned and cooked to perfection. I ordered the Prime Dip and it was on point. My boyfriend ordered the chicken and ribs combo and it was the best BBQ we’ve had in a while. You could taste the delicious smokiness, and it wasn’t even in need of any sauce because of the infused flavor. The ribs were fall off the bone, melt in your mouth– and the chicken portion was huge. His father ordered the rotisserie chicken and it was just as delicious as the BBQ style chicken. His mother ordered the Prime Rib medium rare, and it came out a little rare to her liking– but the perfect balance of meat and fat for the cut. We had brought our own cake for the occasion and both the host and server were super accommodating in cutting and serving the cake. All in all, we are excited to come back here and will definitely tell our friends and family who live in the area about Redstone American Grill!

My sister-in-law booked us for brunch here and I’m falling in love with this place. A complimentary mimosa with brunch? Yes please! And their delicious cornbread? That’s how to start brunch off. This particular one was blueberry lemon, yum! We started off with the fondue because it’s seriously just that awesome. With the sweetness I had gotten from the cornbread, I went savory for my main dish. My mom got my second choice, french toast and that was so light and fluffy. Delicious. I got a hearty ham & Gruyère omelet mixed with potatoes & caramelized onions. It was huge! I would have liked more Gruyère in it. Along with that was rye bread and hash browns. The hash browns weren’t crispy as I would have preferred, but wet. I know that’s a odd way to describe them, but it’s true. Full to the point I would have to be rolled out, I couldn’t even think about dessert. Brunch did get busy so prepare for a wait on food & drinks. But when the weather is perfect out, sitting outside is the best choice.

I chose Redstone for lunch with a friend thinking it would be pretty quiet during the week. Oh how wrong I was! I walked through the doors and the area in front of the host stand was packed with people. Despite this, the hostesses were hustling and each group was seated shortly after arrival. Everyone we encountered was very, very nice, and wait times for drinks and food were not long. They really have their lunch service down. Our server was so sweet and accommodating, especially with regards to my friend’s one year old son. I think I could have liked Redstone a bit more if I had ordered differently. The Caesar salad was on the small side, with just lettuce, croutons and a teeny tiny Parmesan crisp. But I will say that the dressing was delicious and the rotisserie chicken I opted to add on was tender and flavorful. I could have used another handful of lettuce and a piece of bread or something. My friend’s flatbread looked pretty great. Redstone’s pricey but you wouldn’t know it based on the crowds. Ladies lunching and business people filled the place. I love the patio and will probably return for drinks during the summer months.

When you eat here, ask to be seated away from the bar! We went on a Saturday night. Lots of drunks leaning on our table. To the point of wear I held on to my red wine because this one girl kept falling and almost hitting our table. It made our dining experience less than desirable. Our server Katie was great, very attentive and she would come around occasionally to back the drunks away from our table. But to the food — The wedge salad, lobster bisque, buffalo shrimp and crab cakes were amazing! The bone-in strip steak wasn’t the greatest. We didn’t stay for dessert because I had to get the heck out of there before I started freaking out. We would definitely go back but with a request to sit in the dinning area. And most definitely MAKE A RESERVATION! We were given a 90+ minute wait time at 8:00 pm.
