Sushi To Go

It’s difficult to find a sushi place that delivers that has good food. My regular favorite sushi places do not deliver. This place was kind enough to deliver to our house which was slightly out of the way even though the website initially said it would not. The food was fresh tasting and delicious. My only complaint would be how it was packaged. We ordered 3 rolls each intending to share them. They arrived in 3 containers, and to get each piece out of the container definitely caused the rolls to fall apart a bit. This was not very pleasing because as most know you are not supposed to deconstruct the roll. Other than that, it was great.

I’ve been here a few times and Ive always been pleased with their prices, food, and friendly service. Now that I know they deliver I may call instead. I recommend their volcano or hawian rolls.

First time here. A friend told me about it a few months back and i was driving by it on the way home from a job so decided to stop in. Resuly, solid place! Good to know its here and to have sushi delivered to your door as an option.
The sushi tasted fresh, delicate. The eel was awesome as i love eel and they give you 3 pieces w your order for 3.50 which is unheard of for the perceived quality. The spring salad and miso were very good as well. Def worth a try and a place to return to. Hopefully taste and quality is consistent.

Really good. Especially for the price. I got basic rolls to go (tuna, salmon, and yellowtail). Under $ 15. They were ready when I got there to pick them up.
The restaurant is not too impressive but I wasn’t looking to eat there. Pleasant staff and fresh, tasty fish.

This place exceeded my expectations! With a name like «sushi to go» I thought it would taste like cheap food court sushi but it was packed with delicious fresh fish unlike some places where it’s mostly rice and cheap filling. Also staff was very friendly. Oh and a plus is they deliver :)

I do not recommend their hibachi at all. We order delivery at work from here and I decided to try something different instead of the burritos and rolls and it was definitely a NO GO. Some of the chicken was cold inside and other pieces were rubbery. Definitely not the same chicken used in their chicken tempera roll. Even their hibachi rice was not very good. Stick with the sushi!

Can’t believe I never discovered this place before since I’ve lived in the area over 30 years!!! This place is heaven! I had the hibachi chicken — I had it delivered. Allow at least an hour for delivery — but the wait is well worth it! The food is AMAZING!

We used to love sushi to go — ordered once a week for delicious, fresh sushi at a reasonable price. Not as good as other places in the area but decent especially for the price.
Sadly something has changed and not for the better. The sushi is not nearly as fresh, we have been finding bones in the fish and the final tipping point was the food poisoning poisoning my boyfriend got last week. They forget parts of the order, rolls will not have fish through out and the last order we got was just bad fish. Inexcusable. Too many bad experiences, will not be going back.

Sushi To Go is located in a strip mall on Greentree and Church Roads. The store is clean, bright and simple. Customers place their orders at the counter and there are a decent amount of tables for dining in. On the day we stopped in for lunch Sushi To Go was doing a brisk dine in and take out business. They also do delivery.
Sushi To Go has a pretty big menu of both cooked and raw sushi, rolls, burrito style sushi and also hibachi boxes. The prices are reasonable. My wife and I both tried the Hibachi lunch with came with some nice vegetables, fried rice and orange slices. I had the Shrimp and my wife the Salmon. Both were good and the shrimp and Salmon were fresh tasting in a pleasant Teriyaki style sauce. We also had the Miso soup for $ 1.75 and that was pretty big, easily enough for 2 people.
There is a small refrigerator with a good selection of drinks. We went with the Green Tea. The utensils and plates are no frills; chop sticks, plastic forks, and even the dine in orders are served in take out containers. The staff was extremely friendly and very nice. I will definitely come back again and try some of the rolls and other items on the menu. 3.5 Unilocal

Ordered take out from here when I was staying at a local hotel in the area and it surprised me! Delivery was speedy and the food exceeded my expectations considering it was a sushi take out spot. We ordered the spicy tuna salad, sashimi burrito, and scallop hibachi. The tuna salad and sashimi had plenty of fish and was really fresh. The prices were great also! The only complaint was the scallop hibachi didn’t offer much scallop. There was a huge portion of veggies and rice but not enough scallops. Overall a good choice and would probably order from here again.

Well the good news is – I returned there and they «upped» their portions!
Had a very filling hibachi chicken lunch there with excellent fried rice and steamed vegetables.
My partner’s sushi lunch was fresh, tasty and delicious.

I’m a sushi LOVER. I know this sounds crazy because the place is a chain restaurant, but they have some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. In addition I’m strangely obsessed with seaweed salad and theirs is really cheap and the portion is big too! The only thing I don’t love about the seaweed salad is that they put other lettuce with it, but if you hate that you can just pick out the seaweed since it’s on the top. They don’t charge extra if you want spicy mayo on the side or scallions in your rolls.

Sushi To Go: it’s fast and convenient. You can sit and dine in, however, it has more of a cafeteria feel than a restaurant. I got my sushi rolls within 10 – 15 min. I would come here again if I’m in the area. The place is very casual and seems sterile, and doesn’t create that desire to stay too long. The sushi is great though-it’s not morimoto great but it’s what you get for the price.

I got sushi here before and sushi is ok. Not as authentic but if you have sushi cravings, it will do the job.

This place has great sushi! The only downside was that I ordered delivery and it took almost an hour and a half to get my food when it was estimated 35 – 45 minutes.
I had the Philadelphia roll and a spicy shrimp roll. The spicy shrimp roll had tempura flakes which I wasn’t a huge fan of but the sushi itself was really good. Also had a house salad which was big and delicious. Cheap and yummy but delivery was way too slow

Don’t let the name or the location fool you. Very tasty sushi for the price! Considering this is a budget priced sushi place in a small NJ strip mall, I was expecting something more like the cheap bland sushi you might find in an «all you can eat» buffet or inside a grocery store. I was certainly surprised.
The fish has always been fresh and they have a lot of fun and unique varieties. A few rolls seriously surpass rolls I’ve had from the more expensive restaurants in bigger cities (Chicago & NYC). I especially recommend the tofu burrito!
Recommended for those new to sushi, looking to move up from the cheaper sushi out there or simply nearby sushi lovers looking for some original sushi at a great price.

Very delicious! My friend and I tried the spicy salmon burrito, spicy tuna burrito and the sashimi burrito.
My favorite was the sashimi burrito. The jalapeños were a nice touch. Service was fast, even during prime lunch time.

3.75 for a fresh delicious California roll. I really like this place. I didn’t think the portions were small, one roll fills me up and it was really affordable. I’ve gotten the shrimp avocado roll too and it was yummy. I’m not a huge sushi person but this place is fresh and quick.
There are tables to sit down, it’s not a place with servers it’s more casual.

I have a borderline addiction to sushi and after multiple visits in the past few days, Sushi To Go has only fueled my addiction with their delicious food.
At first I was unsure of how it would be; the words «delivery» and «sushi» don’t really go together in my book, not to mention it’s located in an old, tired strip mall. However, the inside of the restaurant was clean, fresh, and didn’t smell gross/​fishy. The paper menu has a wide variety of rolls, hibachi, and sushi «burritos.» The speciality rolls and burritos sound really good and I will definitely try a few on my next visit because their prices are so reasonable. My food each time has been wonderful, so I’d say this place does not disappoint!
The only 2 downsides of this place are 1) the portions are small and 2) each time I place a walk-​in order, the wait is a bit long since they make it fresh. Maybe consider calling ahead for a fast pick up. This is definitely my new go-​to place for delicious, fresh sushi.
