The Dinner Table

Great service and food! I purchased a coupon on Living Social and my significant otter and I decided to give this place a go. Just a few minutes drive from Charleston, this restaurant is easy to get to and the food is well worth the short drive.
There is parking in front of the restaurant and the space is homey and clean.
Their menu is located on their website (note, prices have increased but only slightly) and they have specials that change daily; chicken and dumplings every Tuesday (I’m going back for that!) and baked steak every Thursday and the other items will vary slightly.
I ordered the country fried steak off the menu w/​mashed potatoes and mac & cheese. Everything was delicious! The steak was very tender and the coating had a nice flavor. The gravy was great (and I think would taste very good on biscuits). The otter ordered the baked steak special which came with green beans and mashed potatoes. He cleaned his plate, though agreed my meal was just slightly better. The otter loves graham cracker pie and ordered a slice for dessert and really enjoyed it.
We’ll def be going back, and encouraging others to do so, too.
