I have not found anything from border girl that didn’t like. You get a good amount of food for what you pay for.

Fast, fresh, delicious! Many ways to personalize your meal, from the many salsas, to the choices in tortillas. I love the black bean wheat berry chili, and the border salad with chicken(add black beans and guac, sub fuego salsa for the dressing)

Definitely the best Mexican food I have ever had. I had the white fish burrito unwrapped. Really enjoyed having a beer outside with my meal. Friendly and wick service. Definitely will return. I wish there were more of these in Michigan.

They have really good food here. Get the steak or chicken tacos. It would be 5 star, but the hours knocked off two stars. I wanted to eat here before 11.

Great food. But very stingy on the chips as a side. I would have been very satisfied if they would have given more chips!

Bland. Overpriced. Not enough food. The chips are like broken glass. Go find Dia de Los Tacos and get a real taco.

Yum yum! Everything I’ve had is tasty. Can never go wrong with a burrito or quesadilla. And the chips and Border Salsa are addictive! It’s all made with fresh ingredients which is a plus! Semi-guilt free fast food. Good for a quick lunch and low prices.

Really good. Its like fast food mexican, but not fast. The building was clean and amazing looking. The staff was friendly and efficient. This is a counter service place with a drive thru and to go svce. We left very full and happy.

The staff here is always friendly. I don’t care if they raise the price of the tacos to $ 5 each I’m still eating here. The food is that good, always hot and fresh. And the atmosphere is perfect. They should open one up in Midlothian, IL.

This is an excellent casual dining restaurant. It’s a quick order system that works well. The menu has a diverse amount of options(even though I order the same 2 things). Even though they don’t have the normal seat and serve style, the service is still excellent and the employees are always helpful.

¡Qué delicioso! Gluten-Free options are available. Became obsessed with the GF Chipoltle Chicken Quesadilla on a recent visit home; ate there 4 outta 7 days, which is a record for me… For years I’ve avoided the BG, mainly because 5 years ago I found a spider crawling in my salad. They’ve since rebuilt & expanded…& got rid of spiders.

As a visitor of Marquette, I stumbled upon this restaurant. The Tex-Mex cafeteria style has a great selection of food and craft beer. I was impressed. Food is not quick but well worth the 8 – 10 minute wait. Definitely a well run business.

The good: prices are low(a few cents lower than comparable items at Chipotle/Moes/Qdoba), and they serve beer and margaritas. The building is one of those newish angular steel and glass two-story numbers, with lots of metal chairs, if you like that sort of thing. The not-so-good: the process. You walk in and it kind of looks like Chipotle, but there’s no menu board or assembly line, so you’re not sure if you should seat yourself or order at the counter. There are like 6 employees standing around, who will direct you to the couple of folded menus hanging in a pocket on the wall. You order and they give you a pager, but bring your food to your table before it goes off. You get your own soft drinks and napkins, but they bring the food on real plates, with silverware. The food was OK but very bland; I drowned mine in the Tapatio that was on the table(only sauce option?) to make it taste like anything. I got the Border burrito, which came with a cup of an orange sauce that kind of tasted like French dressing – I’m still not sure if it was for the burrito or the tortilla chips that come on the side. The floor was not too clean, but with the type of food they serve, and their predominantly teenage clientele, I guess it gets dirty quickly. As Mr. F observed, «It feels like a cafeteria in here.» All in all, it’s an OK option for the price, but probably shouldn’t be the highest-rated restaurant in Marquette on Unilocal

I usually eat at this location as I’m passing through town, though both are good. Quick spot to grab a bite to eat. EXCELLENT food. Whitefish burrito is awesome.

Great service, excellent food at affordable prices, what’s not to love?! It’s my top choice in restaurants in Marquette and haven’t found one like it anywhere.

I honestly wasn’t sure if it was possible to find a(n American) burrito as good as Chipotle but… BEHOLD! I have found it. Listen carefully. You should get a Sonora Burrito(cheddar jalapeño tortila, chicken, spinach, etc.) and then mail it to me. Express.

A working knowledge of gluten tolerance, and a totally decent taco. Not the *best* taco, but not bad at all. pretty fast, reasonably priced.

This is one of the first places I stop when I am back in Marquette and always get the chicken gourmet burrito(grilled chicken, rice, cheese, border salsa and guacamole). The border salsa is amazing even though it is a rather weird orange color and I am not quite sure what is in it. Border Grill is a must eat while in MQT

I grew up loving Border Grill, and now living across the country I still crave it all the time, and love it just as much. The food is delicious and fresh, and the staff is always friendly. The new building isn’t bad either, I like the soda-machine-on-both-levels thing they have going. I would HIGHLY recommend the veggie quesadilla, and lots and lots of Border salsa(what is IN this stuff??? ADDICTING). The downside: parking can be a pain. I would recommend forgoing the front lot if it looks busy, it always seems like an accident waiting to happen(but there is plenty of parking in the back). Also this place gets CROWDED. The congestion has been relieved somewhat with the expansive new building, but it can definitely get loud and stressful at peak hours. Anyway, nothing beast Border Grill the morning after a late night drinking(or after a day at the beach, or in the evening for dinner, or even when you’re not hungry but love it so much you try to shove it down anyway…). Ahhh sweet Marquette memories.
