This place is ridiculous. First, they claim it’s Iowa law to have two forms of identification if under the age of 25. We’ve played at multiple Iowa casinos and this has never been the case. Second, due to the fact that we didn’t have the second form of identification, they claimed it was Iowa law to walk us to our vehicle. We had a couple of people with us who had been drinking but most had not drank anything. These people are degrading and power hungry. Don’t waste your time walking up the ridiculously long entrance ramp.

It’s exactly what you think it will be. It’s a small riverboat casino. The parking lot is huge. I didn’t go to the buffet but you have to walk through it to get to the overpass to get to the casino. The casino makes you feel like a cigarette butt in an ashtray that hasn’t been cleaned since the 1970’s. Which is strange because everything in here looks new and colorful. We went hoping for some cheap blackjack tables. The cheapest one was $ 10 minimum. Even Vegas has $ 3 tables. Someone has to pay for the new decorations I guess. We signed up for a membership. Everywhere has play $ 50 get $ 50. You play $ 50 they give you $ 25 and then $ 25 for a different visit. We sat down at a penny slot machine. Put our membership card in. There were butterflies on the machine and I love Mariah Carey so I picked it. Hit the button. Lost. Hit it again. Lost. Hit it again. Won $ 3 dollars. Pulled the handle and won $ 21 dollars. So we left. We were there for 17 minutes. That was enough. See you next year ciggy smokers. 3 out of 5. –1 for over priced tables –1 for the stench

i HAVE experienced better, A LOT better. this casino is on a riverboat, in a small town, right on the Mississippi river. when you go to the top level of the riverboat, you have a great view of the Mississippi river, and you can look over the border into Wisconsin(Prairie du Chien). since i do not eat meat the buffet was not good for me. they did have meatless dishes, but not a lot of them. the casino was small, and not a lot of people were in the casino. even though it was a weekend. the buffet had more people then the casino did. but all in all the casino did it’s job as a stop to give some money to the local economy, and the Iowa state government. NOT A TOURISTDESTINATION!!!
