So glad to see this Food Co-op is still going strong! I was a member back in the 1970s and it was a wonderful organization and a successful model for others to follow. Great selection, etc.

You know when you walk into an establishment with a picture in your head, and it far surpasses any of your expectations? That what happened to me at Marquette Food Co-Op. I mistakenly thought it would be a small, farmer’s market style stand with local produce. It’s SO much more than that! Wowza — picture a mix between Trader Joe’s/Earth Fare/Whole Foods — but it’s a community owned grocery store! See the smiling pictures of local growers who sell their product in store –a nice touch to remind us where the food comes from and who makes it. There were so many organic and all-natural brands I had never heard of. Really impressed with the selection, although it’s got Whole Foods prices to boot :/ A great ready-to-go food section, as well, with a separate seating area up front to enjoy your comida in house! Don’t miss acoustic brunch at the co-op on Sundays from 10 – 2! Live music + love food sounds like a winning combination to me.

I really enjoy the atmosphere, the lighting, and the selection at this store. There is plenty of unique cheeses, meats, beverages, chocolate, you name it! I much would rather shop here than any other stores. Ever been to a whole foods? It is similar to that, except smaller.

This is quite an amazing food store. From NY we have nothing quite like this anywhere. Amazing selection, great ambiance, what a winning concept!

I was just visiting Marquette with a friend of mine and we decided to stop in. This place has quite a nice selection of grab and go items. Plus a very wide selection of products and decent prices on their inventory. I will definitely be coming back when I come back to Marquette.
