Very good, a welcome addition to little Beaver Grove! The UP needs more restaurants like this. They are pretty relaxed though and won’t rush you. We’ll be back.

Great idea… local, farm-to-table…not well executed. At our table we had the Harvey Hash, Foundation, Blueberry pancakes, and Biscuits & Gravy. Everything was just«ok» not outstanding. The hash was just their standard potatoes with chopped corned beef. The B&G gravy lacked sausage and the biscuits were dry. The eggs and pancakes were hit… everything else not quite. The coffee was weak. For the drive to an out-of-the-way location, I need better. Positive…great service.

Very impressed with the menu, and the atmosphere, you can really see the creativity and passion. Best fish fry I have ever had with the KBC beer batter. The service seemed less attentive. I expected more timely service for being the only guests. However I will be going back when ever I have family intown.

One of the best local restaurants. Varied menu. Consumed considerable number of items. Do not recall much specifically… overall though I recall it with anticipation of a soon forthcoming return.

Decent food long wait. Not sure why just seems tike ownership is too relaxed. No sense of urgency. Maybe service will improve. Unimpressed.

I have never in my life walked away feeling that an eatery had no chance as a new business until I ate here. If you don’t know how to cook food, serve food or prep food you are done for. I ordered a hamburger(their most pricey one at 13.00 per plate and Shrimp Scampi with the vegetable of the day. I ordered the burger medium rare and received a hand press patty that looked wonderful until I took a bite and found a well, well done brick for a patty. The toppings were fresh but missing my onion that I ordered. The salad that came with the scampi meal arrived in blistering hot dish(don’t need to go into detail on what that does to a salad). Then I tried the shrimp scampi that I ordered that came as shrimp tossed in plain pasta. It wasn’t scampi at all but already cooked shrimp thrown in some noodles no butter or garlic flavor and they didn’t even have the decency to drizzle some olive oil over the dish so it was raw pasta with what looked like left over shrimp cocktail on it. The veggie side never made it’s way out of the kitchen. There was 1 piece of basil in the pasta, it had 5 sides and wasn’t anything that someone with any sort of cooking ability would ever let slip into a dish so I assume it was there by mistake. If in your first month you haven’t figured out how to cook a simple dish like scampi or a hamburger, I don’t see this as something you should pay 45.00 for a meal for two with tip. The owners were on T.V. talking about how proud they were about using as much local fresh ingredients and they must have been referring to the the water because I didn’t see anything come out of the kitchen that didn’t look like it came fresh from CISCO. This eatery is just another shining example of how sad the food scene is in Marquette and the surrounding areas.
