No stars for this truck rental place… I went to rent a truck 2013 and the service was great. Now it sucks. This lady made me go to the gas station for two bucks of gas. She said that it wasn’t enought gas in the tank. She made sure I had put gas and also charged me for going back to the gas station(milleage). Last year the guy who just to work there told me «make sure you leave the same amount of gas, park it and drop the key in the key drop box… easy and no more charges. Would I go back there? No way. If you go there take a pic of the gas gauge in the perfect angle. I took one but it was off angle and didnt helped me. You have been warned.

The customer service isn’t criminal but it’s baseline. Several negatives from my experience: *They lock you out of access on the last day of the month for what was explained to me as «taking inventory»… I am a musician and need access to some gear on a moment’s notice and experienced this«inventory lockout» on the last day of the month several times when I needed my stuff and couldn’t get to it. I simply forgot about the lockout at the end of the month and it was inconvenient to plan around rather than having true 7 day a week access. Be aware of this. *Had auto-debit set up for my unit and had to replace my debit card; this of course meant my payment was rejected since the old card was canceled. Instead of simply calling or emailing me, they sent a snail mail letter telling me my form of payment was cancelled and since I don’t get to check my mail all that often I was charged a late fee. Again, not criminal customer service — it is my responsibility to pay for contracted services after all but they could have picked up the phone or at least emailed. They have all my contact information and it would have saved me a late fee after at least 1 year of on time payments. *The 30 something male manager was very personable and friendly and let me know how much he appreciated my business, but the other employees I encountered were not in the business of smiling or communicating in a friendly customer service oriented way. It’s just a given that if you’re not ordering from a fast food restaurant that you’re treated as a valued customer from top to bottom. I was not given this feeling from all of their staff. I felt strongly enough about not having my expectations met to take my business elsewhere.
