Ryan’s

I went there Sunday an it closed down. They had workers there they didn’t even tell them.

Smaller selection than Golden Corral but the food is decent. Our server was friendly and prompt with refills of drinks. I liked the fact they added the hot fudge and caramel pumps, it has been a few years since we last visited and they didn’t have them then. We also got lucky that they have a text club, we joined and immediately got a buy one get one free dinner buffet, and the cashier let us use it even though we had just gotten the text mere minutes ago. Maybe we will try breakfast to compare it to Corral. It is, however, a good distance from home, we stopped here today because we were in the area.

Worst food I have tasted in years! A basic «slop the hogs» trough of food. Wendy’s is fine dining compared to this place. Do not eat here because you cannot take back that 45 minutes of your life.

OMG I literally just threw away 10 bucks. The food here is horrible and the staff is Ghetto. This buffet has little to no selection of food… I was so upset after I ate my salad I left. The salad bar is probably the best thing in this place… I was very disappointed

Congratulations you have earned a second star! The last time I went, we could tell that they were trying to improve the food quality. It’s still not great but, hey, E for effort.
Update 12/​08/​2015 And they are moving on up. I am putting them up to 4-​stars now. It seems like they have no management, and most of the staff is down-​right friendly. It’s convenient on the Monday nights after playing kid chauffeur and don’t have time to cook before bedtime. Now that they have been doing the Military family night on Monday, we eat enough and for relatively cheap. Props to Sean and his crew.

I was pleasantly surprised with Ryan’s. It’s been years since I’ve stepped into any Ryan’s & my man friend suggested we go here to satisfy any craving we had & it did do that!
The steak was seasoned well. I didn’t have to use A1. The fried chicken was juicy, crispy, & I mean, it isn’t Popeyes but still tasty! The salad bar does have a good variety, I could ask for a few things though. Oh & do have the mac & cheese. It’s the kind that brings you back to school days! Cafeteria mac and cheese, don’t you just miss that from time to time?
Overall, the hot foods were decent. We were late diners and the food tasted fresh.
My only disappointment is the dessert bar. I remember being a child and peering up to a bar full of whole cakes, candies out the wahoo, & possibly anything a child would want. However, this Ryan’s lacked all of that! Just a few measly sliced cakes, all of which were blah!

We returned to Ryan’s and the cleanliness was much improved. We enjoyed the food selection including cooked-​to-​order steaks.

A mediocre dining experience. This is a buffet, so there is a variety of food choose from. However, none of the food is exactly exceptional. Quantity is pushed over quality. Save $ 10, a disappointing meal and your time.

You can get $ 5.99 worth of all you can shovel, so I’ll give them that. I thought they would at least have a decent salad bar but besides the fresh greens I was disappointed.
The meat items were too scary looking to try although the fried chicken looked okay.

The buffet was ok. Some of the hot line appeared empty or had been picked over. Ice cream machine out of order. Lots of pudding & pudding desserts. Not many, nice moist slices of cake, or fresh cookies to choose from (the cookies were as cold as jello). The rolls appear to be half the size they used to be. They were still good, when available.

It’s actually a buffet place and it is so good. It’s a good price for how much food there is. It has soup and salad and mexican food, italian food and southern home cookin food which is my fav. They give you rolls which were delicious and they come with honey butter mmmmmmm. I was so full when I was finished I couldn’t stop eating. I love buffets and I would have to say this one is very good.
