Fake sale for Saturday 6-27-2015 Winn Dixie Published a Sat. only sale and also posted it on the internet. Most of the items featured were not available by 2 pm Saturday. Manager explained that the stores were not to issue any rain checks and that each store only was allowed a limited amount of featured food items. This is not black friday and people were so mad that they stopped shopping, let their baskets in the isle and went to an HONEST supermarket. BEWARE of the Winn DIxie, limited amount, first come, first serve policy on the super Saturday only sale. Don’t ask for a rain check, it’s not their policy for their almost false advertisement. Visit Winn Dixie for the next super sale, just don’t expect to get anything published. Please note Rouse’s stores had everything advertised and the selection is much better. The prices are more affordable and the service is five star perfect. David J. LeBlanc

Stay away from the shrimp in the seafood display. If the color is not an even gray color do not buy it. Black, green, pink or any other colors on shrimp peel is an indicator of poorly handled seafood unworthy for even the neighborhood stray cats.

This is a small Winn Dixie, so don’t expect a whole lot of selection as far as bakery, deli, and produce. They do have a decent meat section, and the dry goods selection is about on par with the other Westbank Winn Dixies. The staff is always friendly and helpful, which isn’t always the case in grocery stores of course. Prices… well, overpriced comared to a certain big box store down the street, but that’s expected with Winn Dixie. I go to this one because it’s a 2 minute drive from my house, and the friendly service. Oh, and they have self-checkouts, which is always a plus — the next closest one(Woodmere) does not.
