Mars Agway is the best store in our area for lawn products, pet foods & supplies, and horse feed & supplies. The owners are always there, and know their products inside and out. They’re friendly, remember your name, and always eager to help — the way business should be done. I’m new to owning a large acreage, and I feel like I sometimes ask a lot of silly «city slicker» type of questions. But their staff is always kind and answer my questions thoroughly. They are great at recommending the perfect pet food for my cat and dog, fertilizer for my lawn, grass seed for my horse pasture, horse feed for my growing horse, and horse feed for my older, fat mini horse. They’ve saved me from expensive veterinary bills by helping me select a new dog food when my dog was having stomach issues and a shampoo when my dog was having skin issues. They currently have the biggest and healthiest tomato plants for sale that I’ve seen anywhere. They are personally gardeners, pet, livestock, and farm owners, so they only carry products that they use and trust. They carry an amazing selection of wild bird feeds and feeders. I can always find the best tools for cleaning up all of the poop that my animals produce too. Ok, maybe that was too much information, but you get the point. This place has helped us start and maintain our own little horse farm with all of their expert help.
