Yummy soft serve. This cute, stationary ice-cream truck/shop was the perfect place to stop after an outing in the country apple picking. My chocolate soft-serve cone hit the spot. Lots of flavors to choose from including inventive sundaes. We enjoyed friendly service and a scenic view of this tiny town from the picnic tables. They also sell an assortment of farm fresh fruits, veggies on the premises.

Pretty disappointed every time we go. Love supporting Ma&Pa stores, but just can’t support this one anymore. Prices are higher than most places and they don’t accept CCs so there is no surcharges for that included in price. Also, portions compared to other local Ice Cream shops are VERY small. My husband always gets a milkshake and I get ice cream. It seems they make mine, then his and by time I get mine its a melted mess. We have tried it 3 times in 2 years and every time we say we won’t go back. This time we mean it. Would much rather drive the 20 mins to Warrenton.

I pass by Bears twice a day during the week. I try to keep from stopping and getting ice cream every day… but I’m an addict. The ice cream calls me as I get close… and I stop. I feel bad afterwards because my stomach is full and I realize I will not be able to eat dinner when I get home… As I write this I feel the need to head into town and get some… Ummm… their open for another hour, I got plenty of time.

Yum yum yum! We were on an «adventure» road trip for dinner and passed Bears as we were looking to discover a dinner location. We had dinner but so glad we saved room for dessert. Bears isn’t fancy and it’s normal soft serve ice cream that you can have as a cone, a cup, made into milkshakes or blended with topping. So easy it’s delicious. Stop by and ENJOY!

They were closing up but still took our order. I ordered a Vanilla milkshake and it was fantastic. What a nice quaint family owned and operated ice cream stand in the middle of basically nowhere/Marshall, VA. I’ll definitely be coming back, whenever I visit again! Cash Only. Bring a smile!
