Found a different location. Service was outstanding for a dennys. Food was served hot. Definately worth a quick stop if you are toad tripping

About the best breakfast you can get in Marshall.(Kate’s is solid too) Omelettes were fluffy and not greasy, while the ingredients were solid and not highly processed. French toast was thick and cooked well. If you order the red skin potatoes, they come deep fried(not the best).

While driving thru Michigan I just happened upon this place since the other place to eat in the area had nothing but bad reviews. Drove down the road looking for the typical Denny’s and had thought I made a wrong turn, but there it was a Denny’s looking like a old diner. The inside in designed with metal ceilings and uses old fashioned table and chairs, the fifty’s look. Had some decent rock music playing in the background. But my only complaint would be the noise level inside, it is load. The acoustics are extremely bad in here, I’m half deaf and I could hear a bunch of girls talking from across the room. It has your typical Denny’s food, which is good and plentiful. The staff is personable and attentive, but my reason for the one star reduction, is that they can’t get a drink order correct. I don’t like ice in my drinks and every time I would ask for a refill with no ice, I got a drink glass loaded with ice. Finally on the last refill, the waitress got it and realized her mistake. If back in the area, I will definitely stop back in.

This is the best Denny’s I’ve had the honor of dining in. The custom skillet was always fresh and satisfying. The service was always attentive and personal. Thanks Marshall Denny’s, you made my extended stay at the Hampton Inn much better! You guys are great.

Never thought I would be inclined to review a Denny’s. OKAY, so this cannot be a real Denny’s. Denny’s are never are never good. In my experience Denny’s are where you go when nothing else is open, your working out a sketchy business transaction, you find weird stuff hidden in your food, extremely creepy people, terrible food, food poisoning, …etc This is a great place bottom line. Friendly attentive staff and great food. Which is really a first for any of my Denny’s experiences. It is really family oriented and in a nice convent location. I would highly recommend this. Just because it is Denny’s doesn’t mean its terrible I guess :)

Very nice people Efficient service Food is meh… standard breakfast fare at best Heavy, starchy and cooked in grease that is days old. Some may like that style of food. I spent the whole day feeling like I had a rock in my stomach after I ate there.

Not like any other Denny’s you’ve ever been to! Excellent food and excellent service! We stop here anytime we are even remotely in the area. Very accommodating to those with food allergies.

Who would think you’d get the most yummy vege omelet at Denny’s. But you can at this one in Marshall. Their cook is great. I hotel at the Hampton and the Denny’s is a short walk. Their banana pecan pancakes are also incredible. The servers are always friendly, which is so important when you’re not from around the area. I’ll keep coming back.

Food is good and the 50’s style diner is entertaining to look at while you wait for your food. Felt a little forgotten once we sat down, took 10 minutes to see a waitress on a slow day. The waitress also didn’t get any refills to the table. Outside of a bad waitress(normally they are good) I would recommend a stop here for some good, cheap food.

On our way to Indiana, we stopped off at this diner. Which is the diner style, cute, and close to the freeway, and seemed busy. We were expecting the regular style of Denny’s Restaurant, but the diner look was cute. Anyway…This is the slowest service I have ever gotten in a restaurant. I even noticed a couple at the counter, who came in after us, were served their breakfast before us. We waited, and waited, and wondered… How long does it take to make eggs? We even had to wait, then ask twice for a carry out box… The food was good, once we got it… but we almost walked out, since we seemed to be forgotten about.

Like most people, I have been to a few different Denny’s restaurants in my lifetime… and this is my favorite! It has all the same food. What makes is special is the décor. It is done in a 50’s diner type theme… so cute, u almost forget u r at Denny’s. We have taken several out-of-town relatives there and they always think its so neat. Foods always been good too(I mean, as a diner goes… we’re not talking about gourmet meals or anything.)

This Denny’s is my favorite of all the ones I have eaten at. It has a classic 50’s Diner them, and the outside of the building looks like one of those 50’s silver trailer type diners. The food has always been good here, and the service as well. It is accessible to the highway, and it is a diner I have frequently stopped at when traveling to and from Detroit on my way back to Battle Creek.
