Decent food but the yelling/​arguing in the back area was a little in appropriate. The service was slightly slow as well. I was definitely glad to eat my food and get out of there!

Very good food but the service can be slow if they are busy I highly recommend eating here if you are in he mood for fish and you are in a hurry the staff has always been friendly and nice so when you are in town stop buy and check it out and see what you think

When traveling through this part of Texas a stop at Long John Silver’s can hit the spot. Located in the small town of Marshall, TX, it’s a busy place for locals and travelers alike.
The employees are friendly and orders of food come up hot and fresh. There is a wait time that can vary depending in the size of the order. The wait is not so bad when you consider the food is being fried up to order.
The usual choice is the fish. We’ve had no problems at this location with the fish being too greasy or undercooked. It’s always up to the Long John’s standard. The hush puppies are always a must with a good crunch outside and tender inside as are the fries. The shrimp and clams are a satisfying choice if you’re wanting something besides the fish. Condiments are available for asking and plentifully given.
I was surprised at how tasty the green beans were. The taste was fresh but they were light on seasoning. A little salt and pepper added by us made them a very good complement to the fried foods. The rice with carrots was also surprisingly nice.
Long John Silvers offers different combo meals and a family meal deal to suit any appetite or budget. Whether just passing through and needing a timely meal or a local wanting some seafood type fast food, this Long John’s is a decent choice.
