RiverDance

We stayed at RiverDance for a wedding of a friend of ours and my wife, as usual, made the best decision. I don’t think we’ve stayed in a better place while attending a wedding before… other than our own wedding, of course :)
Callie and Dave were so friendly and caring. We felt very at home with them as our hosts. RiverDance was the perfect spot for our group too. We stayed with some newly acquired «friends» of the bride (like us) and we all had plenty of space to get to know each other without invading each other’s space.
The views are incredible too. We had so much fun returning from wedding events to just hang out together.
I would recommend RiverDance to anyone who is visiting the Marshall /​Hot Springs area. I know we will be back :)

Great Place to relax. Spectacular view, Welcoming hosts, comfortable and beautiful home. We used Riverdance as our base for day trips into Asheville, the Biltmore Estate, Hot Springs Spa and Marshall.

We just spent the most relaxing weekend we’ve had in some time at River Dance! Dave and Callie have created an incredible Bed & Breakfast with an amazing view! It is so easy to relax as you sit on one of the beautiful porches and admire the view, sit beside the outdoor fireplace and become mesmerized in the flames, soak in the hot tub while looking out over the mountains, rock in one of the rocking chairs while listening to the sounds of nature and the babbling stream below, or simply resting in your room looking out the windows at the incredible scenic view. Callie and Dave frequently checked to make sure we had everything we needed, offered their kitchen and grill for our use, and made great recommendations for activities and restaurants in the area. It was a great place to get away from the business of our everyday lives and still have easy access to Hot Springs, hiking trails and rafting. We can’t wait to go back again!

Best B&B experience we have ever had! My wife and I stayed at RiverDance in the RiverRocks Suite and it was great. Beautiful views right out the window, the sound of crickets and the burbling water of the creek to lull you to sleep at night. There’s a kitchenette downstairs to keep food in, Callie makes a delicious breakfast and makes her kitchen open if you want to do your own cooking, and the house is absolutely beautiful. The pine/​exposed wood creates a feeling of a mountain retreat, and with the gorgeous view it’s the perfect experience. They have DVDs, WiFi, and a mountain of books if you just want to escape and be lazy. If not, Hot Springs is about 10 minutes away and offers a small amount shopping, the Mineral Water springs and spa, and the Appalachian Trail runs right through the town. Lots of hiking, rafting/​tubing, and mountain biking to be had just minutes away. Callie and Dave are gracious hosts who are interested in their guests, but strike the perfect balance between attentiveness and privacy. The view from the hot tub is amazing. We plan to come back!

RiverDance was a wonderful place to stay while visiting our son over a long Thanksgiving weekend. Callie and Dave went above and beyond what we normally expect from a Bed and Breakfast experience. Their home is beautiful and the views from the outside deck and from the large windows inside are amazing. Callie always made sure we had everything we needed: soda, bottles of water, snacks, and even a card table and chairs for our family to play games. We stayed in the lower level of the house and had plenty of room to share the space with our son and his wife in the evenings. While staying at RiverDance we explored the little towns of Marshall and Hot Springs, as well as Asheville. One of our favorite «day trips» was driving on the Blue Ridge Parkway and marveling at the gorgeous views. Since our son lives close to RiverDance, we look forward to staying there again and visiting with Callie, Dave, and Midge!
