What I consumed: I went to purchase beer and wine Environment: The environment is below average for a large grocery chain Service: The customer service was terrible! The manager Mary refused to sell my sister and myself wine because they stated that they did NOT accept our Washington and Oregon licenses or a US Passport! After speaking to LaDarius(another manager) we informed him that a US Passport is a superior form of ID when compared to a Texas ID. Reluctantly, Ladarius agreed to sell us the alcohol. Appearance: below average Overall: The customer service experience ruined my impression of this store and Super 1 as a chain as a result, I will NOT be going back and recommend that my followers and friends NOT shop at Super 1 until they become more friendly to shoppers coming in from out of state.

Much more than meets the eye here. Although they have an annoying alcohol policy that all people present at time of liquor purchase must show ID. We’re both over 21 but the person who isn’t driving doesn’t always have their ID with them. Aside from that, the liquor selection is much more diverse than expected. They could definitely use more alternative food products in stock. The vegan/vegetarian offerings aren’t great compared to Walmart and Kroger in the area. Good selection of bulk goods though makes this 4 star instead of 3 star.
