Came here to swap out a fitbit that I had purchased for my mother. The agent greeted me and was able to help me right away. It seemed like the transaction pad that they now carry made things more difficult. There were so many steps to do a «like for like» swap for an item I purchased yesterday and had the receipt for. Took about twenty minutes and then he actually told me that there is a penny difference. I just looked at him. He finally put in «cash» and said he had a penny in the car… Seriously Verizon? It’s that crucial? I found out later that whenever the exchange is done in a different county from where the item was purchased, there ends up being a penny difference. So I ended up returning the fitbit later that same day. My Mom didn’t like it. The sales guys were nice, but again because of that little transaction pad and Verizon’s system, I am being mailed a refund check. They couldn’t figure out how to do it any other way. He said it will take a week or so. Seems a bit old-school. I couldn’t tell if it was a training issue or that their system is bad.
