Cold beer, burgers, and fries were the best! We also had a sampler platter that included fried pickles and mac & cheese bites. It was awesome!
Our waitress was great. She was friendly and checked on us often. If you are looking for a neighborhood bar and grill atmosphere, this is the place for you. It was clean and inviting in there. We will definitely be back when in the Marshalltown area again.

I lived close to 13th street when I was really young so I have amazing memories of sneaking here when my Mom was at work and getting root beer floats and cheese balls.
However, I recently went there with a friend, and after our order was taken it took exactly 35 minutes for it to come out, 1 basket of chicken strips and 1 basket cheese curds. The waitress ignored us.
