Terrible experience here will stop me from ever entering their front door. We spent $ 5200 plus on leather furniture and some tables, were sold on the Guardsman Elite protection plan for $ 299 as if it wasn’t used in 5 yrs you come back to the store for a return on the cost in the form of a gift card. A win/win right? I found my paperwork 5 yrs and 10 months later, so call to see how to obtain my gift card, was told I can’t use it because I waited too long. Their paperwork-yes, their paperwork does NOT say you must come back within 60 days of it being 5 yrs old, the paperwork only states you must redeem the gift card within 60 days. I called and talked to 4 people, was offered half credit(like they were doing me a favor), you know like kind of being pregnant, we’ll bend over backward and give you half. No, pass. I pushed the issue and ended up just saying thanks but I will never shop here again. I get a call this morning from someone that wanted to talk-it wasn’t a conversation as I couldn’t get a word in edgewise. I was told the paperwork they did was too small to add all the details on so it wasn’t shown that I had to ask for the gift card in 60 days so I was too late. I was told I am a glass half full person, very professional, then I said I was just trying to get my money back on a gift card as I was going to buy some book cases and was told it wasn’t my money! Funny when they sell it to you as you get your money back if you don’t use it, now I am told it isn’t my money… Think many people ever get their money back? I mean, not their money… said I didn’t have a calendar that went out 5 yrs and was berated… that she had one that went out 20 yrs! And she knew all kinds of people that had calendars that went out 5 yrs. Get the picture of the professionalism? Keep your half offer-principle does matter. You saved $ 150 and lost a customer for life. Principle thing now for me so I am going to post my experience all over. Advise, buy Amish made furniture that is built 50 times better and won’t have a sticker on the bottom that says made in China. and their word is solid!
