Living in Dallas, I didn’t realize how much I missed Pizza Ranch. I know, I know. You are wondering why I am missing a buffet that is mainly a Midwest institution. Well, this is the spot my family and I have frequented for years and I always bank on greasy food and pretty epic nostalgia. This specific location has been around for a few years and replaced the Godfather’s that used to be housed in its place. With the buffet loaded with pizza, cheese bread, chicken, mashed potatoes, and a salad bar, you are bound to find something you love — or at least like. The cactus bread is always a stand out. And the host will ask what kind of pizza requests you might have a hankering for. Where else can you get pizza AND chicken besides Golden Corral?! Stop by. Give it a try.

Good luck ordering over the phone. I think it was the ladys first time looking at a computer and barely speaks English. Painful and frusterating. Food is average

It was clean. The prices were pretty high. The chicken we ordered was super greasy and not fresh.

Any other pizza place in m’town is a better choice than Pizza Ranch. Flavorless toppings on cardboard crust is a bad combo. Service is passable, at least.

Pizza Ranch is a solid pizza chain. The food is consistent and tasty. The buffet has a salad bar, pizza bar, and hot foods. This location also had an ice cream machine… But no toppings. They always ask if you request anything particular on the buffet and then promptly make it. The taco pizza and the dessert pizzas(cactus bread) are delicious. The staff are friendly and attentive. There is plenty of seating at this location for small or large groups.

Pizza is very good and the staff is very friendly. They will make any kind of pizza you want upon request. Nice and clean.

Colonic in a box. That is the only way I can describe Pizza Ranch Pizza. Anytime I have eaten it, within hours I’m petrified to stray too far from a toilet. I’m not the only one to experience this phenomenon. Many of my friends, family, and acquaintances have stated there’s no better way to get the gut a churnin’ than diving into a piping hot Pizza Ranch pie. Fortunately, the broasted chicken and potatoes are somewhat okay. Stay away unless you need to prep for a lower GI procedure.

Pizza Ranch should re-brand themselves as Chicken Ranch, because the pizza is not good in my opinion(as well as most people I know), but their chicken is to-die for. It would be nice if they had a bench of some kind for people waiting for to-go orders. We had an order for pick-up and it took the standard amount of time, but I have a feeling that our order was sitting for a while because the chicken and potatoes seems sort of… mushed on the bottom… by the time we got home(a 10 minute drive). Service was friendly, as always.
