I was very unhappy with my experience last night at this establishment. My family and I came in at 850 pm not knowing that it closing at 9. It was posted online at 10pm on Saturdays. When we entered the floor had just been mopped at the woman behind the counter made a very irritable expression, I can only assume was from us coming in 10 mins to close. We left at that point. I understand the frustration, I have been in a similar circumstance as a food service worker. But if you do not welcome customers at 850 pm, then close at 850 pm. I don’t think I will go back.

I use to love going here for their frozen yogurt, but I can’t continue to support this business and it’s owners. I’ve heard stories from my friends who’ve worked here, and it seems from the handling of their employees to their attitude to cutting city owned grass every other land owner abides by, the owners seem immature and vindictive.

This establishment is a joke and a true embarrassment to the city of Marshalltown. The owners are some of the most immature people residing in Marshall County. They refuse to act as a member of the community and choose to violate city and county ordinances at their leisure. They once hung a self-promoting banner across Main Street without a permit, and now they refuse to keep the modest lawn in front of their building mowed and tidy. Their property is at the entrance of the town near Highway 30 and it’s a true eyesore in every sense of the word. They really don’t deserve our business. Please boycott Purple Cherry. There are better options in Marshalltown owned by better people. Mow the grass numb nuts! Here’s an article about their most recent stupidity and a relevant Facebook group:

The frozen yogurt is great, however it’s on the expensive side. Parking isn’t great either. Mixed reviews on food, inconsistent.

Very cute little froyo place. This used to be located downtown but is now out by the highway and has become a combination of gas station, convenience store(no beer, no cigarettes, but other sorts of convenience items), and froyo parlor. This is a great place to go for a snack in the evenings. They also have a lunch menu with delivery. We tried the pork tenderloin sandwich and although it wasn’t bad, it wasn’t amazing either — a little mushy with all of the tomatoes and lettuce on it, and a little over-fried. I think it depends on who is making it at the time you order.

A refreshing change from the traditional ice cream fare. Very helpful & friendly staff gave us some great flavor combination tips. Highly recommended! Great environment to just laugh and have fun with the family!

Marshalltown’s newest family friendly attraction! Fun and trendy, it’s THE plae to be in Marshalltown! Awesome self-serve frozen yogurt! Pick your flavor, add your favorite topping, weight it and enjoy! Yogurt flavors change every couple of days. Hershey’s Chocolate kiss froyo topped with brownie bites and whipped topping, to die for! On the lighter side, luscious lemon and very strawberry topped with fruit are very yummy and loe calerie. Try it, you won’t be disappointed!
