A multiservice place, Tropical tans offers much more than just a tanning facility. It has a full service salon and also offers massages, etc. They also have a retail store at the entrance. I go to Tropical Tans to have my hair styled by Angel Hicks, a master stylist that far exceeds the abilities of the majority of stylists in the entire town of Marshalltown. She makes everyone feel like a movie star when she is done. Angel and the other stylists are incredibly personable and they create a fun environment. The receptionist is always friendly and personal. Prices are very reasonable. They are more than the chain stores, but very well worth it.
