The best French onion soup I’ve ever had! And I’ve tried everyone’s! They need an award honestly. The rest of the menu is a little boring. But great fish. And the friendliest service ever! We had a great time!

I have been here a few times already but not for a few years. The place was packed(almost a mosh pit) but we did not have to wait too long. Started with the cheese curds — very good but they were warm, not hot and the pieces were small. I had the fish fry, two pieces of broiled fish, with coleslaw and baked potatoes. The fish was lacking in seasoning but still very good, great value for 7.99. Coleslaw was just how I like it! Baked potato, good size and perfectly baked. Our waitress with the blonde hair and braids was a hoot. She is amazing — Thanks! I heard they recently redecorated. The went retro but not retro enough. Large mirror on one wall to «make the place look bigger» kind of a fail. They should have redone the floors(maybe wood) and added new chairs(not the standard black painted metal and vinyl). Everything looked clean. The place has great energy and lots of happy satisfied people in it. Definitely a Marshfield staple. I am sure I will be back again!

I’ve been here a couple times in the last year and while the drinks are good the food and service is just average. If you want a burger and fries this is the place for you.

We stop by Crabby Dave’s about two to three times per year when we are visiting family in Marshfield. The main draw to us is the friendly staff and good food. The bartenders and servers remember our names and make good conversation. The place has a Cheers/hometown feel to it, with a cool U shaped bar. Hopefully Andy is working when you go, as he creates a fun environment by joking around and innocently teasing the customers. Our favorite item on the menu is the Baked French Onion Soup. It’s served with a thick layer of Swiss cheese that spills over the side of the crock. Underneath the cheese are croutons and onions that have been softened by the soup broth. If you are in Marshfield, I’d highly recommend Crabby’s for lunch or dinner and drinks!

Over the past 5 years, if I’m passing through Marshfield I make it a priority to stop at Crabby’s … great food and great staff!

Food was great! Female bartender spent the night calculating the evenings bills and couldn’t be bothered to look up to tend to bar customers. Although she was the only bartender! Really? Must not care about selling booze or being personable. Get another bartender.

Service was super good. I ordered the jalapeño burger and it was cooked really perfectly. i liked it compared to all other burgers i’ve tried at the other pubs. not to mention, this is the only place i’ve been to that has grey poupon on the tables and that’s a huge plus for me.

I’ve been coming to Marshfield on business for 1 ½ years & somehow missed Crabby Dave’s. Until today when I happened to look that way while heading to the hotel. I looked it up on Unilocal & there were no «bad» reviews, so of course I had to give it a try. Wow, was I surprised! I had Baked Ziti that was really yummy, & really big. Enough to feed two people big, but of course I polished it off myself. Crabby Dave is the beertender & is a really nice guy. He said Mrs. Crabby makes the marinara sauce & I’ll tell you, if Dave doesn’t watch out I’m gonna’ come steal her, it was that good! What a great little inconspicuous gem with a great name. How could anyone not love a place with Crabby in the name?

great service with an excellent burger and then add good beers on tap along with a pleasant waitstaff is going to make this place a regular stop whenever in the area. Burger was well cooked – crispy edges with a pink juicy interior — my choice today was a jalapeño cheddar burger – served on a nicely toasted bun with a couple of crispy onion rings and a slightly spicey sauce – the fries were of the frozen variety so had a salad instead –good choice! Don’t be put off by the slightly drab exterior this place is worth the stop!

Pretty good Friday night fish fry and some great cheese curds! I like the random happy old guys you always see sitting at the bar :-) Ariel is a darn good waitress too. I haven’t been in there since winter, so hopefully she still works there. I liked her service quite a bit :-)
