How do you find a great funeral home when you need one, which, when the time comes will be immediately. You either pick blindly or go on word of mouth, which is what my family did a few months ago when we chose MacDonald for a family member’s funeral.
Kind, compassionate, caring and professional. They didn’t overlook a single detail. They quietly coordinated everything from start to finish, all in non-​intrusive manner that let us know that anything that needed to be done was being taken care of and done well.
From start to finish — everything from planning the event, organizing family members in the funeral procession and at the church, to making sure the restaurant where the funeral luncheon was held had the correct (and constantly changing) number of expected guests — they were on top of it all. With kind and reassuring word, they kept everything moving as it should without being intrusive or pushy in ay way, just — kind.
One of the worst experiences of your life shouldn’t have even more stress added on top and MacDonald does everything they can to take the stress away. And it was a beautiful funeral, too. What more can you ask for?
