Amelia was amazing! She had a rough start, busy with take out orders, but she did a wonderful job taking care of us. The pizza was outstanding. The red and white sauce were very tasty. The cheese was melty and stretched liked a wet dream lol I wished I lived closers so I could eat here all the time ^_^

Once again, Unilocal pulled its weight while traveling. The Jays Nest came up as close by traveling down the interstate. Great little place, in a neat little town. The service was great, and a surprisingly diverse menu for a place of this size. I had a hotdog w/bacon, grilled onions, and cheese. My wife got the ham & bean soup, and parents got the chili, both of which were home made. Everything was very tasty, and presented in very nice fashion. The rest of the building is a thrift shop to support a local high school fund. Some neat stuff to look at while waiting and eating. I recommend a stop if you are near here at lunch time.

We have been going to the Jay’s Nest for the last 3 years, whenever we are in Marshfield. We love it! It’s a small sandwich/hot dog place with delicious sandwiches with fresh ingredients, lots of choices, and soup of the day that we always enjoy. This time we tried the Paddy Cake of the day too, small individual cakes that the owner bakes, that were scrumptious! Friendly and warm. Will definitely be going back again next year!

We wanted a local restaurant that had small town charm and found Jay’s Nest. The food was delicious and the price very reasonable. It’s definitely local in its décor, even with Missouri flags outside. Staff was very friendly and helpful. If your looking to have an authentic small town, healthy food experience, Jay’s is your place.

Great place for lunch. Saturday evening open Mic night is fun too. Very reasonable prices on amazing hot dogs and sandwiches. I’ve tried almost the whole menu and the Irish Setter and the Jack Russel are my favorites.
