I would like to take issue with«LisaLisa“s statement that my review is a plant or that I am a relative/friend. That is not the case. We have stored our RV at Blum Road Storage for two years without an issue. The Manager is very concerned with the safety and security of the property and has been nothing but accommodating to our needs. At first I thought not being open 24 hrs/day would be a problem, but it has not been an issue — and the reason they are NOT open around the clock is to be considerate of the neighborhood(they are in a somewhat residential area) and I think that speaks to their overall approach. I highly recommend Blum Storage for both their reasonable pricing and care for the safety of your RV.

First of all, I seriously question all the five star reviews and how«glowing» they are. Seems to be a bucket of family/friend hooey in my opinion. I was met with nothing but rude, dismissive behavior. Make Note: 1. The elderly woman on the phone was terse and quite full of herself. Informed me «We will not take a travel trailer older than a 1992″ Honey, you are in NoWheresVille, California… not Palm Springs. What on earth did I just get on the phone? is what I was thinking to myself. This woman was a self indulgent bulldozer. 2. This place is an RVSTORAGE facility… not an RV Park. To blatantly say „no“ when I am sure your facility has only the occasional coyote or bunny rabbit run through is CooCoo. Not sure who or what they are trying to impress, but it became quite apparent to me she loves to say point this out to anyone who calls. 3. She was incredibly Nosy. I do not like dealing with Nosy people or Nosy Women especially. That spells „busybody in my business“ type of person. These type of people also tend to create problems where there is never a problem. She actually had the audacity to be ‘shocked’ when I stated another facility currently had my travel trailer and she began the I-am-so-knowledgeable-lecture…“I am shocked anyone would take or allow a 1988 travel trailer, most places will not take anything that old» HUH? First of all, I am a young, working professional with multiple degrees and probably make 2−3x a month what this woman has ever pulled in for her entire lifetime. So freaking what if my travel trailer is a 1988, I take immaculate care of my camper and have remodeled with new carpeting, etc. What is it with these baby boomers who always have to have everything NEW??? No wonder none of you can retire! I then said«you are only a storage facility» Her: «doesn’t make any difference» ***Never mind that after I have called over 16 places and know much more than she does at this point, she was STILL convinced she is right 4. Out of ALL the RV Storage facilities I have called over the past three days up and down 680, this was the worst and I was treated like crap. Honestly, I found two other places who have been incredibly helpful… even if this woman would take my trailer, there is NO way I would ever deal with this type of nonsense on a monthly basis.

I just spoke with Jackie who runs the storage facility. Easy to get along with. Friendly and accommodating are things I look for when storing our trailer. Moving our trailer there after summer and I will update review then. I am looking forward to giving them my business.

I have store a trailer at Blum Road Storage for about 30 years. I“m on my second trailer there. When my husband passed away they helped me find a better place on the lot to park.(I’m not to good at backing up). I always feel safe, when I go to pick up the trailer by myself, and when I bring it back. I wouldn’t be anywhere else.

We’ve stored our R/V here for the last two years and only left because we sold it recently. But this has been a wonderful place to do business with. It’s a great location with freeways very close that go each direction. The manager is a sweetheart and always helpful. We never had any problems with theft or anyone messing with our R/V. They also had extended hours for access compared to other storage places we considered. I can’t think of a single thing bad to report as it was always a good experience for us. We have a friend who stored their R/V there and they had the same good luck as we had.

I’m shocked that this company doesn’t have prior reviews on Unilocal because they’re fantastic! 14 acres of boat, RV, and«big boy toy» parking situated in a quiet neighborhood in Martinez. Easy to get to right off Hwy 4. Owners live on-site and are great, along with their affordable prices($ 70/month) for boat parking. Area is secure, safe, and right down the street from the California Highway Patrol. Owners also have private security to patrol premises for added safety. Highly recommend!
