Picture Perfect Pool Services

Joe and his team did a fantastic job on our pool in Danville. They were recommended by our solar company and I cannot say enough things. Very accessible, very responsive. They invested a lot of time up front getting the pool just right, far more than our weekly full service would merit. We had a few minor repairs and all of them were completed at or below what was quoted. We just sold our house but if we were to buy another house in PPPS’s area, we would absolutely have Joe and his team take care of our pool!

Pool turned green during last storm. Wasn’t sure if it was an electrical issue or pool equipment. After calling Leslie’s Pool (who told us to call an electrician) and then calling an electrician (who told us we needed our pool rewired for $ 4000+)… I was referred to Picture Perfect by another service company. Thank God! John, the Repair Manager, came out next day and diagnosed we needed a new pump. He was quick to return phone calls, good about in explaining what the problem was and what needed to be done, prompt and efficient. New pump is humming along and on its way to being a turquoise oasis again. I’ll call them next time we need our pool vacation serviced or have any other problems.

My pool sweep stopped working. I called Picture Perfect Pool Service and spoke with Nowell. who came over to tell me that I needed a new pool pump. I replaced my pool pump with the exact one that I had which Nowell recommended. I ordered the pool pump and called Nowell to install. Nowell came over and replaced my pump but did not understand how to make my pool sweep work. I told him I replaced the pool pump because I wanted my sweep to work. Nowell said «I was hired to replace your pump not to make the sweep work.
I told him that’s why I wanted the pump replaced. Bottom line is he did not know what he was doing and I was very disappointed in his reaction.

I am astounded (and angry) to read the only other Unilocal review for Picture Perfect Pool Services! I have been a customer of Brian and his company for better than 20 years and have found their services, responsiveness, pride in what they do, and cost-​effectiveness to be second-​to-​none. I came to write this review because this morning my filter pump stopped working and I am hosting a pool party/​barbecue for 50 people on Sunday (today is Thursday, my normal maintenance day) and have all my grandkids here for a week. I NEED my pool! I called Brian at 11:30 this morning and by 2:45 this afternoon I had a new pump installed and all systems up-​and-​running.
I also had my pool expanded about seven years ago and the pool contractor made an unsolicited comment that my pool service (Picture Perfect) had done an outstanding job of maintaining our pool and saved me a «ton of money» because the pool was in such good shape.
I have referred Picture Perfect to others in the Alamo/​Danville area and have NEVER heard a negative comment from anyone who has used their services. I’ve told Brian he can use me as a reference anytime for anyone who asks for one.
