This is the greatest convenience store around for two reasons. Raj and Mahek. They are so nice and genuine, know all the regulars by name. Feels like a Mom n Pop store from a time and place long goneby. They always have a smile and friendly hellon and the place is always clean and well stocked too! Rave!

Customer service doesn’t get any better than this! Raj and Mahek make Quick Stop feel like a little family corner market — more often than not i hear them greet their customers by name. They are always so friendly — smiling, happy and helpful — my whole family absolutely LOVES going there. The other employees that work there are awesome as well. If I could give them more stars I would. It’s not often you find a convenience mart like this little jewel. Martinez is lucky!

This by far is the best convenience store ever! Raj and mahek and all the staff are nothing but friendly. I’ve been going here for years and they are nothing but humble and compassionate people to their customers!

More often than not, when you walk into a convenience store, the employees are not that friendly. But I must say that everyone I’ve met who works here is. I think it’s family run and they’ve always been nice to me and everyone who comes in.
Over the past few years I’ve made this my regular lotto stop. I’ve actually won after buying tickets here.
They also have Blu Cigarettes well stocked in flavors I like. Not that I’m doing that anymore.
Ill even go out of my way to come here after getting gas at Chevron, rather than go into the store chevron has.
It’s just a good neighborhood store run by great people.

Rarely do you find employees that remember you, or for that matter speak english in a place like this. Lines are never long, always have things in stock and the clerks are friendly. It is my go to place for a lotto ticket or cold beverage.

Basically the best booze shop in Martinez, if only for close proximity to my father-in-law’s house. Pretty decent selection of hard liquor for a mini-​mart, and a gang of airline size bottles for your shooting pleasure. Also, they have the black packaged Zig Zag «extra wides» and they can be a bit of a pain to find.

This is the best liquor store in town. WAAAAY better than the Quik Stop on Alhambra (although there’s no gas pumps). They just remodeled and it looks top notch. The counter staff is always friendly and become familiar with regulars. (Don’t you hate when they ask for your ID even though you were in there the day before, and the day before that, etc. I know it’s the law and all, but sheeeeeesh loosen up a little!) It is a franchise, so they do have promotional deals (2 large Red Bulls for $ 6…not bad) On a personal note: they always have fresh Swishers!

I have to admit I was a bit scared off of this place — and for no good reason whatsoever. So when 7 – 11 was packed with what appeared to be 14 year-​olds, this was about a block away and only had one car in the lot, I decided it was time to face my fear.
Quikstop was clean, well-​stocked and the guy at the counter was friendly. A very nice «You Were Wrong.»
