Hey everyone, just wanted to say thank you to all my customers who were kind enough to leave me positive feedback, as well as the others on here, because believe it or not I paid close attention to these in order to better my own performance. Sadly Wed November 26th will be my last day at the store as I move to bigger and better things. I ask that if you like please come in either that day or before hand as I would like to say thank you in person for being awesome customers. These 3 years have been great and I only hope that those who fill my shoes at the store can pickup where I will leave off. Jacob is so helpful and is very knowledgeable about the products at the store. He’s very focused on making sure customers leave the store happy. I pre-ordered my iPhone 6 through this Radio Shack. AT&T did not deliver the iPhones to the Martinez store on the launch date like they were supposed to, but Jacob went out of his way to track down a phone for me. He will go above and beyond whenever possible! My boyfriend was also having a hard time getting his phone to charge, so Jacob fixed it up and cleaned out the charging port. Great experience!

We go to this Radio Shack regularly and get consistently excellent customer service. I am always impressed that the staff is so pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. I feel comfortable going in there and getting tech support without fearing they will talk over my level of understanding. They always take plenty of time with me and I do not feel rushed. It is rare and special to find this type of staff, and a company that supports this type of work environment. Today it was Jacob that handled my phone dilemma, thanks.

I was just recently helped by the Malcolm in this radioshack, first impression was — very professional and pleasant staff. I had a cracked iPhone screen and Malcolm gave me an estimate of a two hour repair, I check back in 50 minutes and he has finished it way sooner, with a pristine new screen, and he replaced the electronic part behind the screen as well. The whole service was incredible, so forth that I wish to write a review after my one and only visit — as I had to travel a few extra minutes to get to a radioshack that was able to preform this operation. Felt that Malcolm was a very smart employee and could tell he held a great potential for success.

The manager, Diane, at the Radio Shack in Martinez has a great personality, is excellent at trouble-shooting, and puts customers first. In a world where people tend to not know what they are doing in the workplace, nor even care to learn, it’s refreshing to find that there are still some young workers who really do care to do a good job. Even though Radio Shack seems like a big corporation, the individual stores are really more like Mom and Pop electronic stores. This Radio Shack in Martinez was everything you would want in a neighborhood store. The store is well maintained and the employees care about appearance– theirs as well as the showroom. The Employees were as helpful and friendly as a anyone could ask for. They were respectful of each customer coming into their store, weather it was a Grandmother, Great grandfather, father or young child. When I went back a week later, they remembered not only my order, but my name as well. I love to do business in Martinez, and I will surely do business with this electronic store again.

I bought 2 iPhone 5’s from here and received first class customer support. The whole crew here seemed to really care about their customers. Diane, Abby, and Melvin were great and all made sure I was a satisfied customer. Especially when the AT&T servers were having problems on iPhone 5 launch day. I would highly recommend preordering your next phone here. If you do you will get it on time and have a great experience at the same time. Ask for Diane she’s the best!

Unfortunately, I had to go to about 6 different Radio Shacks today & they all pretty much had the same lack of customer service & staff who knows little or nothing about what they sell. Out of all the Radio Shack employees I had to deal with today, Jacob was THE best. Helpful, polite & knowledgeable. He was so helpful in fact, the woman who looks like a guy who works there giving me weird looks didn’t bother me. He was great! Jacob should be put in charge of teaching all the local Radio Shack employees how to provide customer service.

I was in the Martinez store on February 1, 2012. I received a camera for Christmas and had to return it for the second time. I was very unhappy with the Kodak Camera and really wanted to exchange it for another brand. I was surprised with how well informed Jacob was about all the products that Radio Shack has to offer. He really took the time to show me all the camera’s and their functions, in between waiting on other customers. I was not in a hurry so this left me plenty of time to roam around the store and look at other products as well. This store has anything you are looking for when it comes to electronics WOW! Diane the manager went out of her way to make sure that my transaction went smoothly and approved my exchange. I really like this store, they make you feel comfortable the minute you walk in. They address every single customer that walks through the door with«can I point you in the right direction for what you are looking for» which, to me is better than most Radio Shack Stores that I have been in that just want to Sale, Sale, Sale, as soon as you walk through the door. I have lived in the Bay Area all my life, this is the best Radio Shack Store that I have ever been to. I will now do all my business with this store when it comes to any electronics. The Horror of the way the manager Diane treats customers… their only saving grace is Wiley a very friendly and helpful clerk who does his job. I am still traumatized by my experience tonight when I attempted to purchase a shield for my cell phone.

Radio Shack I normally hate on your chain store. You are over priced and your spokesman is/was Shack O’neil. Yes the word play is not lost on me. It’s lame. Anyways you have surprised me. No it wasn’t your slick catch lines, no it wasn’t the new name«The Shack»(more like The Wack), and no it wasn’t your competitive prices(cuz they aren’t). It was your customer service. Your representatives are well informed and actually attempt to compensate for all the wackness the corporation forces on them. I will make it a point to exclude the Martinez branch when speaking about The Shacks shortcomings.

I came in merely because I needed to walk off my very full stomach before driving home. And then I started noticing items among their wide selection that I’d been thinking about getting for some time but that weren’t a high enough priority to actually seek out actively. Nicole, the sales associate who worked with me, was as helpful as she was beautiful and was great about helping me find what I was after, offering other deals, and still never pushing anything that I didn’t need. Ultimately, I only bought one item, but was sorely tempted to take home a few of the other things I saw there.
