I agree with Frustrated R. I loved the place when I moved in because of the great views. But I had to move when my lease was over because they were going to increase my rent by 15%. Former management before I signed my lease said my rent would increase only by $ 50. However, it wasn’t written down on the lease I signed, so when there was an ownership change, 2 months before my lease was to expire, I was given notice that my rent increase was $ 240 monthly, on my next lease. I had no plans to move but I moved, even though it meant cutting short my overseas trip. I agree, the new management staff was courteous, not her fault. She was only following what the new owners’ dictates — a business plan to increase profit.

I was completely satisfied with the unit and management when I moved in. It was an excellent complex when I arrived. However, there has been an ownership change since then and everything has become a money grab. There was an immediate increase in the rent along with new requirements that force you to pay extra. Also, there have been several changes made that have completely disrupted the once spotless environment of the complex. I have no issues with the new management staff. They are courteous and professional. However, this apartment complex (owned by Sequoia Equities) will rip you off as soon as they get the opportunity. You will pay astronomical amounts of money for amenities and services that are just average. Save your money and look elsewhere.

I love this place! The staff is great, the nicest people you will meet and they truly care about the people who live there. I love the location– walk to the movies, the store, Starbucks, and Kinders. The place is kept up amazingly and the manager is so great! It is at the top of the hill with hiking trails and an amazing view. If you are thinking of renting here, you should!
