Pretty quick wait time and great location. I ordered sushi and it wasn’t the best I’ve ever had-the seaweed flavor from the wrap around the sushi was very strong in flavor compared to the overall roll, but my fried rice was excellent. We also ordered the hibachi chicken which was a huge platter for pretty cheap and it was delicious. Overall friendly staff, and good food.

I absolutely love the food here. Unfortunately, every time I come here is get the SAME server and her customer service skills are far from great. I’m not sure if it has to do with a language barrier or maybe she just doesn’t know how to interact with customers. She is very short when you ask her something and ignores you at times(thus the reason I figured it might be a language barrier). Either way the food makes up for it so I will continue to come back.

Literally my favorite place to eat. I come here so often and have become friends with a lot of the workers that I’ve had meals on the house before. Everyone is so nice. The soup is so good. A lot of people don’t like it but it’s reallllllly good. It’s very smooth and has mushrooms and green onions in it. It’s a great starter. The salad is always fresh and tastes good. The ginger dressing has the perfect flavour and tastes great. The chicken is always so good. Literally my favorite thing. Since I come here as a splurge, I usually swap the veggies for more rice, but don’t get me wrong, the veggies taste great too. I’ve also had the steak, and it tastes great. The rice is never dry. It’s full of flavour and has some egg in it. Definitely a sign of good Japanese style rice. The white sauce here is literally amazing. I get 4 because it is reallllly good and I can’t resist. It’s the perfect blend of creamy and flavourful.

I love sushi with all my heart but the hibachi here is what brings my husband back. I can’t get him to eat sushi with me unless we’ve exhausted every other option because as he puts it, «it’s not filling enough.» I’m grateful for the hibachi option and not only is tasty but it is always cooked to the right temp and can feed two people. I always take the leftover filet and feed our entitled dog as a treat. The sushi here doesn’t give off a freezer burn flavor and is always cleverly presented. We’ve never been disappointed with the food, timing or service. It’s a little gem of a place.

This place is one of my favorite hibachi/sushi places to eat at. I’ve been here a few times. The customer service is not great. But the food is delicious! Hopefully they can improve on their services in the future.

WHATHAPPENED? This restaurant was one of my favorites and now??? The service has dropped tremendously along with the quality of the restaurant. The health inspection is a B, which means cleanliness is an issue. The hostess seemed clueless and not attentive to the front door, which means we sat there waiting to be seated even though the restaurant was practically empty. Where is management?

I am a frequent diner at this restaurant because the food and service are good and the prices are reasonable. Tonight we had the Hibachi shrimp and a Bento box. Everything was very good, the Vegetable Tempura in the Bento box was especially so. Our server must have been new. He was polite but not very efficient. He didn’t set the table, just piled silverware and napkins at the end. It may seem minor, but the chopsticks they provide are very low quality. If you eat with them frequently you will understand. Overall it was a good experience and I plan to return.

Absolutely excellent! There is not a better lunch value in Augusta than their hibachi specials. Less than $ 10 for a pick 2(chicken, steak, shrimp, vegetarian, etc). They will even oblige requests for vegetables instead of rice. Plus it comes with soup and salad. Service is efficient and friendly. I will definitely be back!

Always welcoming and pleasant service when I come in, however I’m just not a fan of tv’s playing sports or music playing broadway tunes. It’s really a good deal with most meals between $ 10– $ 18. For bento boxes or hibachi dinners. Most entrees will include a soup and salad. I actually like both dressings for the salad — so I order the white sauce and the ginger/carrot on the sides to use for whatever I’m eating. The grilled salmon in the bento box was just a tad dry for my liking. The rib eye and the scallop dishes were perfectly grilled as they were moist and flavorful. Rice and vegetables are nicely seasoned. I prefer the miso soup over the onion broth. Just more Asian flavorful experience. The sushi are nice sizes and freshly made. I like that the shrimp tempura was warm and crunchy inside the roll. If you want spicer, add wasabi on top of your bite and litely dip into your soy. I prefer this method of the roll rather than mixing the wasabi in with your soy. Much better flavorful bite of the roll you’re eating. Just my palette opinion! I was taught this method from high end sushi makers in Japan that adding wasabi to each bite is a unique way to enjoy the flavor of whatever fish you are eating… Not doused with a soy/wasabi mixture! I got it!

Came here on a week night for some dinner with a friend after a good workout at the canal. The place is pretty full by the time we got there, but luckily there wasn’t any wait. Both of us were craving for something warm and soupy, and therefore we both skipped sushi and hibachi. We both ordered udon, and neither of us was very impressed with this place. Udon was very average, which doesn’t seem to be on par with their sushi and hibachi according to the reviews on here. The soup was not very flavorful and they definitely could have put some more noodles in my bowl. The server was very friendly and attentive, and drew a big smiley face on my dessert since he noticed I was in a bad mood that day. Two stars for the udon, one star for the service I got.

Miso was not miso. Salad w ginger was drenched. But they replaced it. Nabe taki udon was ok. Salmon hibachi bento was good. 10% mil discount was appreciated, considering the ‘bleh’ food.

By far one the BEST hibachi restaurant in the Augusta area!!! I love their hibachi combo meals with the delicious rice. The restaurant staff is superb in the customer service they provide. They make you feel welcomed as if they are serving you in their home. I REALLY enjoyed the crazy crab rolls! I can go on and on. Please check out this restaurant off of Furys Ferry Rd. in the same plaza with Monkey Joes:-D

When my wife and I can’t decide on a place to eat, Toki is always our fall back and it never ceases to amaze! Oober fresh fish. Fast friendly service. Great prices. And now TWOLOCATIONS! And if you don’t like fish, no worries! Hit up their hibatchi. Very gernerous portions. Great for midnight leftovers!

This is hands down the best hibachi in CSRA. The combination plate(steak, chicken, shrimp) for 2 and the miso soup is great! The kitchen is open, so you can see the cooks. TV placement is good as well.

Came in on a Friday night for a nice meal. The reviews were good and I thought I would try it. It was not a good experience. I ordered the Hibatchi Steak VERY rare and an extra side of steamed rice. My beef came out cooked like leather and my extra side of rice never showed up. The server never stopped back at the table to ask about my meal, she just disappeared. Drink refill? Forget about it! I have been to many restaurants and with food and service as bad as this, I wonder how they stay in business. I tried to talk to a manager to share my concerns but the hostess and another staff member were too busy talking to each other to even acknowledge me.

The ambience, food and service are excellent. I love that you can actually see into the kitchen where they are making your cooked dish in one spot and watch the sushi chef in another. Started with the Miso soup and seaweed salad. Very tasty. Did find it interesting that I had to request chopsticks, but assume that is just based on the typical clientele not using them. Not sure. The Tuna Samba is excellent. A sweet and peppery treat. If you do not like lots of black pepper, avoid the dish, as the pepper taste stays with you. The Yellowtail Jalapeño dish was very tasty without any heat from the peppers at all. Could have been a little hotter for me, but overall, this dish can be enjoyed by everyone without fear from the peppers. The Toki Special Roll was so flavorful that putting soy or wasabi on it actually took away from the flavor. The Teriyaki Chicken Bento box was very good, and I loved the tempura vegetables. The only slight disappointment was that while I had them substitute the Spicy Tuna roll for the California Roll, the flavor of the spicy tuna was not spicy at all. As a matter of fact, while I did like the addition of the crunchy tempura flakes to the roll, it had the least flavor of all the items I ate tonight. Over all a great and filling occasion. I will return here again, and recommend it for a great meal.
