Applebee’s

Half price apps, I’d never pay full price for, were good. Wings surprisingly good. Slow wait time for food, maybe because at night?

I ate here last night and ordered the Cedar Grilled Lemon Chicken. The chicken was so dry, it reminded me of jerky. The rice was bland and had too many cranberries.

I would give it zero stars but that’s just not possible on here!
We haven’t been in Applebee’s for 6 or more years. Today was the first time and I was reminded exactly why we stopped eating here!
The waitress was rude and had no manners or an idea on how to be a professional server. My wife asked what vegetarian meals they had. The waitress rolled her eyes and said we have mozzarella sticks. That’s all she offered.
My wife ordered French Onion soup and a house salad. The French onion soup had what appeared to be an overused soggy sponge that was falling apart. I guess that was the bread. We returned it. The house salad came on a tiny plate and there were no tomatoes or cucumbers or croutons like the picture.
I had the triple hog dare. There was maybe two tablespoons of pulled pork that was smothered under the ham hanging halfway off the bun.
My oldest son had the chicken fingers with honey mustard and the sauce was nasty.
My other son had the corn dog with mozzarella sticks. The corn dog was burnt and the mozzarella sticks were burnt and the cheese was so chewy that my son almost threw up trying to swallow the lump of cheese!
Needles to say we will never be going back to Applebee’s anytime in this lifetime! Happy birthday to me!!!

If I could give it a .25 I would. Our food was greasy, soggy, and overall just terrible. Won’t be back to this applebees.

Stopped in and there was no wait. They did have to clean a table for us. Asked waitress if they had any beer specials and she said «yes, but our tap is broken.» So there were no beer specials on bottles. The bottle beer is way overpriced. The food was great. Service was horrible. We had to ask for water a few times and our appetizer plates and empty beer bottles were never cleared from the table. I’m not sure where the waitress went. Will not be back.

1.5* because my meal was OK. If you are watching what you eat at all, you need to check the nutritional values before ordering because virtually all meals, including salads, are obscenely high and unhealthy.
The Queso Blanco appetizer was not too tasty and if you look at the food values on the picture I posted, they are off the chart.
I had Napa Chicken with Portobello Mushrooms and roasted potatoes and it was fine, except from the picture, «presentation» was lacking.
Wife had the half-​rack baby back ribs and she said they weren’t meaty. I tried one and agree, PLUS they were very dry. I mentioned this to the waitress and added, «I don’t suppose you can do anything about this,» and she said no (I’m not one to complain loudly, especially if they bring what we ordered).
Would have been a nice gesture to offer if there is anything else on the menu that might be appealing, but it didn’t happen. I tipped 15% figuring that generally it was not the waitperson’s fault.
The reason we went here was to redeem a gift card. I don’t think we will be returning.
It reminded me of a similar experience we had about 10 years ago, the last time we went to Applebees (elsewhere)…not a good value for dollars spent.

Went with a group of friends. 2 of our four plates were dirty and one spoon was disgusting. The dip we got for our appetizer was runny and horrible. The main course was absolutely perfect!!! We won’t go back though.

Beer was not a full glass. Sampler appetizer sucked. The quesadillas tasted like they were made with fake cheese and the avocado spinach dip just had a weird taste.

Went here for lunch with a group of friends. Overall it wasn’t bad. The staff was pleasant but on the slower side even though wasn’t busy. Nobody had any complaints about the food, though it wasn’t anything spectacular.

We ordered take out. The food was edible. They forgot our ranch and ketchup. My pasta had pretty much no Alfredo sauce. It wasnt great, but I could eat it.

This has to be one the worst Applebee’s I’ve ever been to. My food was totally unedible in every way imaginable (and that’s something I hardly ever say), I don’t think you could pay me to come back to this place. There’s a new Olive Garden right down the street, that HAS to be a much better choice than this place.

Same food you get at any applebees. The service is hit or miss. It seems it is more miss especially if you go at lunchtime.
