Arby’s

So It’s been a long time since I’ve eaten here and I used to love their curly fries but was never a fan of their sandwiches. I was hoping after some time maybe their food would have gotten a little better. Nope!
I ordered one of their fish sandwiches without tartar sauce, and with cheese. I got a regular sandwich. When I went back inside, they corrected my order but when i got to the car to eat the sandwich, the cheese was so old that not just the corners were dark orange, the whole slice was. And it smelled like it was smoked with open fridge food, yuck!
Maybe not all Arby’s are as bad as this one???

If Roast Beef snagwiches are your thing, then this is your stop. It became our stop because it was the lesser of the evils that happened to be at this exit on the highway. We got off the highway to fill up the car with gas on our road trip home from North Carolina.
It’s the same as every other Arby’s in the world, just not as clean as some of the more upscale Arby’s restaurants that I’ve been to. Everyone enjoyed their lunch and the service was prompt.
Take me home country roads…

Okay, so I also eat fast food once in awhile… sue me.
We were on the way home and it was later than I thought after doing some grocery shopping. I hate fast food burgers, greasy tacos and didn’t really feel like sitting down for a meal. Arby’s was on the way, so we drove through.
I like the Market Fresh sandwiches, and got one of the Turkey Bacon Ranch sandwiches. It had an ample helping of turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato and sauce on a really yummy (and very fresh) multi grain bread (thick sliced, too). If I had a complaint, it was that there was a bit too much sauce.
The sandwich is a handful, so they cut it for you. Each bite had plenty of each of the main items, plus that savory bread (I wonder where they get it?), so my mouth never got bored. Admittedly, the very corners were dryish, but that’s what beverages are for.
All in all, I’ve never had a bad one of these sandwiches. They probably are high in fat (the sauce) and carbs, but I don’t eat out to watch my girlish figure.
I purposely left out comments on service and style, simply because it was a drive thru experience.
