Returning home from vacation we stopped to use the bathroom. We saw Cinco de Mayo and decided to try it for dinner. Everything we ordered was delicious! Service was good too. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because my food could have been warmer when served, my husband said his meal was warm and was very good. Locals you’ve got a great spot for Mexican, if we lived close by we’d be returning for sure!

When the food is hot, it’s good. I’ve had a couple of meals where the food was cold.

Went there a few times, and every time I go there. they try to rush me out. They are rarely busy ever, so I’m not sure why they’re always so rude. The food is good, and the prices are decent as well, but I don’t recommend this place if you’re trying to have a nice family dinner out. Go to las trancas where you can get more for your money.

Great food, good atmosphere! Ordered one of their combination meals and it was wonderful. You can choose 2 – 3 main dishes and 2 – 3 side dishes, depending on preference. All staff was very friendly and kept up with their tables. We came on a Tuesday night around 7:00. Guacamole was also amazing!!!

Good local restaurant with Mexican food at a decent price. I’ve had very good visits and the staff are always friendly. I would say I’ve had better Mexican food but if your in Falling Waters its a spot to check out.

I had the enchiladas and they were good… maybe not the best I’ve ever had but still very good. The prices are reasonable, has a nice atmosphere and the staff was friendly. I’ll be back :)

I’m updating my review from a 2 to a 5. Wife convinced me to give it another chance last night and glad we did. Service was perfect, margaritas were good, food was good, music good. I’m still not 100% crazy about the salsa but that is such a hard thing to please everyone on I’m not going to hold that against them. We will be back.

Cheese nachos — a tiny amount of American cheese and sour cream, much lettuce formed a soup rendering the few chips a soggy tasteless mess. Beef ‘burrito’ — really a preassembled fajita with some watery red sauce on top. Chicken quesadilla — stringy chicken and a soggy flour tortilla with a bit of what may or may not have been cheese. Sides — almost nonexistent I’ve spent considerable time in Mexico and have enjoyed many authentic Mexican restaurants elsewhere. This one is to be avoided.

Good food, good service, reasonable prices. What more can you ask for? We have been there many times and never had a bad experience.

The worst meal I have ever had anywhere and not worthy of even one star. We have eaten here several times with no complaint but they must have a new«pseudo» chef. I ordered enchiladas and rather than flour tortilla it was corn — the most tasteless mush with no flavor. The rice had peas that were shriveled; my guess is they were frozen. Even my husband’s order lacked flavor. Skip this place. McDonald’s is better(gasp, did I write that?) than Cinco de Mayo.

If you are looking for an authentic, vibrant and traditional Mexican restaurant, look no further! For a Mexican restaurant not located in the heart of Mexico or maybe even Texas, this is by far your best bet for true authentic Tex-Mex food! From enchiladas to my favorite the el favorito you cannot beat the portions, the service and the price! Choice alcoholic beverages are also available at reasonable prices. Staff is attentive, happy to serve, and if a mistake is made, very apologetic and quick to remedy the issue! Chips and salsa standard appetizers however if salsa is not for you, a queso dip is available. If heat is up your alley ask for the house special salsa, bold and full of flavor!

Stopped in here for a drink with a friend. Had 4 mediocre margaritas that were way too sweet between the two of us and the bill was $ 62! Ridiculous. There are better places to frequent in Martinsburg if you want authentic Mexican without having to mortgage your home.

I will give it 4 stars based on the area and the basis it is non — authentic. Good place for consistent flavored food reasonable prices quickly made for lunch.

Service was decent. The rest was disappointing. $ 11.99 Fish Taco. 3 small greasy corn tortillas, each with a small spoonful of cubes of bland, undeterminable fish. Served with tiny cup of pico, a lime, embarrassingly small side of rice & beans. I asked if I could have some lettuce to try & make these already overpriced tacos more substantial. That evidently requires an upcharge of a few dollars. Note to owner: Mexican cuisine is typically about value. Rice and beans are über cheap. If you’re going to sack your customer with already overpriced entrée, at least fill them up with the accompaniments. Drive the extra distance to Martinsburg or Hagerstown.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from a strip mall joint next to Walmart, but was very pleasantly surprised! Our server, Katie, was on top of her game, very sweet, and informed/helpful without«hovering». The homemade guac = amazing. I don’t remember the name of what my SO got, but I got the Popeye Pollo and both were very good, well-presented, and didn’t take long. And the price? Can’t beat it! Will definitely be back.

Love it! My husband and I go here almost every week for lunch. GREAT service, great atmosphere, delicious food. They have awesome lunch and drink specials, but if you go on a weekend, expect to be waiting for a table for a while.

AH-amazing. Best Mexican food around. Freshly made green tomatillo salsa. Unique but not too unique menu. Decent amount of vegetarian options including zucchini and squash. Nicely done chicken and pork. Very flavorful and fresh. Service was perfect. Restaurant was clean and lively on a Friday night. Will be back as much as possible!:) apparently they also made fresh guacamole table side. Yum yum.

Very nice décor. The prices were a little high for the area and the staff seemed disorganized and bewildered. This last part may improve when the restaurant is open longer. The food was of average quality and less than average portion size. My wife was still hungry when she left. The food did come out very quickly so for an interstate traveler this would be a good bet.

Newly opened in Oct. 2013, convenient to I-81 at the Spring Mills exit. The menu is ordinary, the décor is ordinary, the prices are average. My wife’s veggie and shrimp quesadilla looked good on the plate, and she had no complaints. A vegetarian, my selection was chilis rellenos, in an odd, unbattered, potato-stuffed version; it was acceptable. If I was traveling the interstate, I’d be happy to find this option for road food, but there are better options up the road in Hagerstown.
