I went and pre-paid for gas with the attendant named pam. I walked back to my pump and it was not on. Frustrated, I walked back inside to see what was up to Pam saying«what do you want». I said the gas I just paid for. Then she says«you don’t need to get smart with me». We had a few more words and I went back out to pump, which she still didn’t turn on. When I started to go back inside I could here the pump turn on. I don’t have time to deal with rude people in customer service positions. I will avoid this place at all costs. So should you.

I wanted to be able to write a good review on this, but I just cannot. Roc’s opened a «Fresh Kitchen» today, selling things like fried chicken, mashed potatoes, etc. It’s close to my home and would be a great place to pick up a hot meal while on lunch break from work(I work from home). Maybe it’s first-day jitters. Maybe with time, they’ll get better. But as of today: Fried chicken: It was over-cooked. This should have been obvious to whoever put it out for sale. The skin was dark, and it was so over-cooked that there was a black charred area on the skin(about the size of a quarter). I think this chicken went from the fire into the frying pan, and back into the fire for some reason. Cheese sticks: How is it possible to mess up fried mozarella sticks? But they managed to do it. They were room temperature at best, and either they were undercooked, or they sat in the heating unit too long. The cheese was hard and crumbly, not soft like a happy cheese stick should be. However, props are to be given to the staff at this Roc’s. They’ve always been pleasant and cheerful, usually greeting customers with a «hello» when we enter the store. A lot more staff today, and they were all pleasant and cheerful. Roc’s must be a good place to work, because everyone seems happy to be there. I’ll check it out in a couple of weeks and post a new review. Meantime, hopefully the management there will see this and take notes on how to improve what could be a vibrant service!
