A great small town dairy barn. Amazing selection with great tasting food and ice cream.

A very nice ice cream and milkshake place by the side of the road. We drove into Martinsburg for geocaching, and we were looking for a place for an afternoon treat. Tad’s served very nicely. They have a large variety of shakes and smoothies that they will mix and grind all kinds of addings and fixings in. The folks working there the day we went were really friendly, the fruit was fresh, and the desserts we got were tasty.
Very ordinary but very good; if you are in or near Martinsburg and have a hankering for ice cream, you won’t go wrong with Tad’s.

There are so many wonderful things about this place, I don’t know where to start.
1. Small town local business
2. Very low prices.
3. Customer service is stellar
4. Quality product with large menu and generous portions.
The only con I can think of is it is outside eating only and I wish they would at least provide some kind of sun protection so I could bring my newborn out during the daytime.
I typically stop here once a week with my kids after my oldest’s football game to celebrate.
