went to ACE on Dorsett Rd. to get an LP bottle exchanged and went inside and was told that they had a water pipe break and you could not get around to the rear of the store. I asked if someone could walk the LP bottle to where the work was not being done and I would meet them with the empty bottle. I was told they could not do this. I asked If I could take my empty through the store to the rear and carry the full bottle back to the parking lot. I was once again told they could not allow this. You would think that they would make some sort of arrangement for customer to accommodate their needs. The sales people didn’t even want to try

I’ve been coming here for the last few years to get sandbags for my car during the winter. The staff is always helpful and friendly when I come here and the prices are reasonable.

I came in for specialty locking washers. After not seeing them, I asked an employee. Within showing me 3 drawers on oddballs I found exactly what I needed.
If there is a «need» oddball piece of hardware, Ace seems to always have it & the employee that can find it.
Larger chains store have more selection for me to find something I want. However, their selections of «need» & employees that know do not match Ace.

Very friendly and helpful staff. I absolutely love going to the store most of the time I can find anything that I want. The prices are very reasonable and they always have great deals going on.
I particularly like going to store because of their staff. If you ever need anything you should give them a try I’m sure you will like them as well.

Just bought bug spray from here and it didn’t seem expensive at all?! I have a rewards thing here and I like they’re mom and pop feel, plus they’re right down the street ^_^

This place is definitely a throwback. Older, cluttered, more expensive than Home Depot — but when you need to ask a question, you can be sure the employee will know their stuff. Not only will they walk you to the product you’re asking about but they’ll make sure you know your options and get all the supplies you need in one trip. Love it!
