Jiffy Lube

If I could give this Jiffy lube zero stars I would. I had my oil changed on 3 – 19 and less than 200 miles after the oil change I had a knocking noise in my engine. I went to the manager of the store and I asked him if they could re-​do the oil change. He told me that he would have to charge me for the oil. I asked for the district managers phone number his exact words «you don’t contact him, he contacts you» then at that point he offered to redo the oil change for free. I said no.
Jiffy lube towed my car to a shop in south county to review my «claim» after having my car for over a week they denied it leaving me in the dark with a busted car. I will NEVER take another vehicle to these people. I hope that you reading this will do the smart thing and stay away from jiffy lube and anything associated with heartland automotive their parent company! I am horrible dissatisfied with their service and unwilling to make this right!

Man, I wish I had chosen to go somewhere else for an oil change. The oil change part wasn’t bad, was done in about 30 minutes. I glanced over and saw a young male employee sticking a screwdriver in my tire valve to release air, which I thought was strange, but he had a gauge and surely knew what he was doing. It was when I tried to leave the problems began.
I turned on my truck and immediately noticed my tire pressure light had come on. I got out and asked the assistant manager if they had deflated my tires. He said yes, they were set at 40psi (my tires maximum is 44) so they set them at the vehicle recommended psi which is 29 and that it would take 10 – 15 minutes of driving for it to go off.
Well, it didn’t go off. I reset it, it came back on. So I checked my pressure at home. 25, 26, 27 and 27. Hmmm. I drove back to ask them to add a little more air because surely it was an honest mistake.
NOPE. When I got there, the mechanic, named KT, was already insisting that I needed to take my truck to the dealer to have my TPMS repaired (before I even said anything). When I asked if they could check again, the yelling began. He yelled at me, the customer, that my gauge was wrong and theirs couldn’t be wrong because it was just installed. «The light was in when you brought it in, right?» No, sir it wasn’t.
The assistant manager put more air in my tires and amazingly my TPMS light went off immediately. KT was still chirping in the background about how his gauges are not wrong.
I just wanted an oil change. I didn’t want to get yelled at. There are soooo many places for me to go get my oil changed, I can guarantee it’ll never be a Jiffy Lube ever again.

Stopped in on my lunch hour for an oil change. They changed my oil, checked and topped off my fluid levels, cleaned my external windows, and vacuumed my front seat floors. I was in and out in 25 minutes. With an $ 8 off coupon from a coworker, the total was $ 35 (standard level oil). Very satisfied. Also, they’re running a special right now if you go in between 7−10am M-​F, the basic oil change service is $ 27.99. I’m definitely going to be going here again.
