Papa John’s Pizza

Submitted a plan ahead pizza at 10:50am to pick up at noon. Got here at noon and stood around until12:45. I understand they were busy because we had a snowstorm that day. But if they can’t have the pizzas ready when the customer requested them, then they should let you know so you’re not standing around for 45 minutes.

We usually order with the phone app when there is a great deal (w/​code «899CAD» $ 8.99 specialty or five toppings large pizza for customer appreciation day). I usually pick-​up on my way home.
In the app, it is easy to modify the order («the works» minus black olives, plus extra sauce & well done).
The counter people have always been more efficient than friendly, but I do order during big discount days.
The pizza has alway been great for the discounted price. (I am in no way stating this is the best pizza– EVER)

This place serves the same food as every Papa John’s…however, this particular location did not impress me. They quoted 45 minutes, but showed up after 1hour 20… not to mention the food must have been in the car the whole time and the pizza was pretty cold by the time it got to me. Sorry guys, will order somewhere else next time…

Papa John’s tasted a lot better in my memory.
I placed an order online for pickup at 5:30. I walked in at 5:25, one of the workers greeted me but the cashiers couldn’t be bothered. One was in a clearly bad mood on the phone and slammed it down with some sarcastic comment under his breath. Another cashier walked up and started playing with the computer without making eye contact. I was finally acknowledged five minutes after walking in the door. Picked up my pizza, signed the receipt and walked out with barely five words exchanged. The pizza itself wasn’t very good, the BBQ sauce on it (Hawaiian BBQ pizza) tasted funny and the chicken was dry. My cheese wasn’t melted all the way and it was clear it had been sitting out.
One bright spot was the apple pie pizza, it was delicious. I pretty much ended up eating that for dinner. Next time I think I’ll try a different pizza place.
