As a Christian, I wanted to support this place since their profits support a church ran food bank, but they have some serious issues that I think other people should know about… First their prices are high, higher than any other espresso stands in town, and are closer to Starbucks type of prices. Secondly, the final price of the drink you order won’t match what it is listed on the menu, if you inquire why, the barista will play dumb. Third, hot drink was lukewarm at best. And last, do not — under any circumstance — complain about your drinks being poorly crafted or sub-par service on their Facebook page. Apparently that gives their barista’s the green-light to contact you via private message and give you their brand of «customer service» which is to slam you with harassing emails pointing at you, the customer, as being negative. No one in my life has ever told me I was as «negative» as the barista did in the emails she sent me over an hour time frame. Nor have I ever had an espresso stand, bakery, café, or any business harass me for giving them feedback or constructive criticism on something that I paid for. I don’t know if it is juts one barista in particular who is so vengeful, or if they think its ok to be this way because there«Christian» faith says it is ok. I’m a Christian, and my faith says their behavior isn’t ok. I’m appalled by their behavior towards me, a former and possibly a potential customer(but not now). I really liked this place before these people took over. I’m not posting this to get back at them. I’m posting this as a warning to potential customers. There is something really wrong going on here, at this espresso stand. At least Marysville isn’t lacking espresso… all with hotter drinks, better prices, and sane baristas.
