I am so happy I stumbled across the yoga classes offered by Lynne Bennett. Her classes are just wonderful. She teaches two classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, one at 5:30 and another at 7:30PM. The classes are intermediate, suitable for people with some yoga training, not necessarily alot, but you should be familiar with the basic poses. She also holds occasional beginner workshops for people who don’t have any yoga experience where you learn the basic poses and proper breathing techniques. However, if you have even just a little training, you should be able to get through her intermediate class with some modifications to the poses which she is happy to demonstrate. I like this because on days when I want a good sweaty advanced yoga workout, I can get it, and on days when my knees ache or my back is cranky or I’m just plain lazy, I can take it a little easier. I started out with the intermediate class, then signed up for a beginner workshop as a sort of refresher, and then went back to the intermediate classes. Good quality yoga for $ 5 a class.
