Kung Fu 4 Kids

My 6 year old son started Kung Fu a few weeks ago. He loves it here. The teachers are attentive, friendly and command respect. Improving listening, discipline and respectful behavior. So far I am very impressed with rage of programs offered, how instructors know each kids name and how they help each child. I highly recommend for an after school activity a few nights a week.

Why 4 Stars?
Because KFNW does not have perfect people here… KFNW has people who strive to improve incrementally everyday.
No martial art style is perfect and no reputable school nor its instructors will guarantee the absolute end-​all winning technique.
Nor should anyone expect a miracle cure from martial arts to fix relationship/​disciplinary issues with their family member.
… Or expect/​think any martial arts school would be in competition or a substitute for religious/​spiritual education.
What KFNW does well is provide a safe, structured, and well-​kept environment with respectful staff for people of all ages and backgrounds. The team has created such a place and has maintained the success of the school throughout various economic downturns since 1996. With having such a long-​standing history of providing martial arts education, the journey continues with periodic curriculum improvements and making sure staff talents and abilities match the needs of the school’s students.
Though the structure of classes may be less regimented than other schools, staff ensure individualized attention to support students in developing their unique talents, strengths, and necessary practical applications. The techniques taught draw from various influences including Northern Style Longfist, Hung Gar (Hungaar), Tai Chi, Qigong and as well as harder style basics from arts such as Tae Kwon Do. These styles may not be for everyone, and people are invited to attend a trial class to assess if this is the right school for them.

This place is amazing! The instructors are organized, super knowledgable and fantastic with the kids! The classes are great and my 5 year old twins love going here. We have been to another studio in the area, but this one is hands down much much better! I would highly recommend this studio to any one thinking about getting their children involved in martial arts!

Rude! No one knows more than the owner, just ask him, he’ll tell you! One of the instructors even thought it was funny to tease a new 4yr old student that if he touched the punching bag again she would cut his hand off with a sword and made him pick it out! They do not know how to keep a child’s interest or how to appropriately correct small children. Meanwhile one instructors child is running all over the place.
There is no honor in these ppl’s hearts! Do not take your children here!
