If I could give this place zero stars I would! Where do I begin… I went to pick up my yorkie mixed at 3:30 liked they told me to, they said oh your on time. I thought to myself you all called me and said she would be ready at this time. I also dropped her off 15 minutes before her scheduled time which was 11:30. First of all she wasn’t finished they didn’t have bows in her hair and she smelled like she wasn’t even bathed! I had to ask for bows and when I looked at her nails that I paid an extra $ 12 for grinding looked like they had clipped them. The first time I took her there I was very satisfied, but this time… The only thing I can say is NEVER AGAIN!

The groomer was a very nice person and seemed to take good care of my 2 dogs. I paid for anal glands to be expressed, but was told they weren’t able to actually do it. I will need to take them to my vet at an additional cost. They were clean and their nails looked good. However, I was charged $ 45 for each of my 20lb dogs. I later heard from my friend that Petsmart charges only $ 35 for her dog, which is easily 4 times the size (and therefore the work) of mine. In addition, Petsmart surprised customers with an additional $ 3 charge per dog because it was the week of Thanksgiving. What?! That was not included in the quote and seems very strange to me. I am feeling more than a little ripped off, and will take my dogs elsewhere in the future.

all it takes is one tramatic horrible experience for the animal to never want to be groomed again… these folks should be brought up on animal cruelty charges… If you love your pet do not bring your animal there please…

I wouldn’t bring my dogs here, I seen how the groomers treat the dogs. Seen lots of blood on the tables when they were cleaning up which means they are cutting the nails way too close.
Avoid

A really nice quality pet store, but pet smart employees at any location have never been nice or somewhat accommodating to any measure.
Me and my friend were picking out a small fish tank (I think it was around 5 gallons) and were going to purchase a goldfish to start her out with. We had all the supplies we needed and picked out a cute fish that followed her finger around the tank. When asked for assistance the quiet and socially awkward employee looked at us and snarled «how big is your tank» we said 5 gallons. She said that a goldfish needed to be in at least a 55 gallon tank. WTH. 55 gallons?! For a goldfish? When asked what kind of fish we could get she said a guppy. No way. She refused to sell us the fish even after insisting we would be fine.

14 cents goldfish !! I don’t know maybe i’m not used to the price. I bought a lot of goldfish from here and its only. 3 bucks and now my tank is full of gold fishes. Love it.

This review is for the grooming department. Having recently moved to Marysville from Mukilteo it’s a bit of a drive to take my two dogs to my regular groomer just to get nail trims. I decided to try out PetSmart to see if it would be a good alternative. Spoiler Alert– It’s not. Read on to find out why.
It started out with my dogs being muzzled. If you don’t bring in your dog’s rabies certificate, they will muzzle them. I get it’s company policy, it’s a bit of an annoyance though, but fine. My larger dog is a rescue and is a bit wary of new people and isn’t fond of nail trims, however I’ve never seen her freak out as much as she did during this nail trim. I offered to hold her for them to keep her calm and make the job easier which I was told I was not allowed to do «For the safety of myself and my dog.» 1. She’s already muzzled, and 2. She would be a lot calmer having me hold her and talk to her than she was with this girl who had her backed into a corner just so she could grind her nails. I’ve never been to a grooming facility with this policy and it clearly stressed my dog out more not allowing me to calm her or have them do it themselves.
My smaller dog isn’t fond of nail trims either and is usually pretty dramatic. My regular groomer solves this by having one person hold him while the second person trims or grinds his nails. This keeps him calm and much happier. That’s not what these girls did. The girl grinding his nails just held him there and kept struggling with him to get the job done.
Then came the bill. Want nail grinding rather than trimming? That’s extra. Anal glands? Nearly as much as a nail grind. $ 34 for two nail grinds and one anal gland expression. I would have spent about $ 20 at my regular groomer for this service and they usually trim up my smaller dog’s feet for free. Now when you factor in the gas I’d spend to drive to Mukilteo to my regular groomer we might come out somewhere around the same price, or maybe only save a few bucks. But I’d rather make the drive, spend around the same, and have people care for my dogs who actually know what they are doing, and make an effort to make my dogs calm and happy unlike the groomers at PetSmart.

I use to bring my 10month old puppy here to get groomed and the first couple of times I had no big issues and everything seemed fine. How ever the past two visits didn’t go to well. To start off the customer service wasn’t to great. She told me what she was gonna do and how much it was going to be. When I went to pick up my dog the price was WAY more than she said. When I asked them about it she told me what all she did and why it was that much. Definitely wasn’t what she told me the first time. When I asked her about it the women told me «I’m sorry miss but this is what I told you the first time. I guess you didn’t hear me» I was very irritated but paid the invoice and left.
When I dropped off my dog for his appointment there was a small dog on the table getting groomed. Clearly very scared and unsure about what was going on. The lady grooming him was very rough and harsh with the dog. She kept snatching his leg and yelling about how this dog is not behaving and the customer should be charged extra for having a «misbehaved» dog and then continued to bad mouth the dog and the owner. All while I was standing there. I was having second thoughts about getting my dog groomed but by that time he was already taken in the back for a bath.
I would try other places before going here. Especially if your dog is skittish.

I have been going to this Petsmart as it is in a perfect location on my way home. Though recently they made the decision to stop carrying my dog food, so I will not be shopping at this location any further for food. Which is the main reason I go to the store. The people there for the most part are friendly, though I felt sometimes stalker-​ish. Just made sure to ask if you needed help and then a couple minutes later another person would be coming up to you asking if you needed help.

The fish tank presentation is by far the best I’ve ever seen out of all large petstore chains. Tanks beautiful decorated with the decorations that they sell– and all live stock appear healthy !

I took my little guy to get groomed. I was very hesitant since we’ve never been before and we have been seeing the same lady for years. I was so impressed with PetSmart Grooming! They delivered exactly what I wanted and more. I also loved how they consulted with me about his haircut, it was very professional. I like the fact that they have high standards of safety, such as when they bathe the dog they must have one hand on them at all times, and they blow dry by hand, not using one of those boxes that holds the dog hostage and blows air into it. The employees here seem a lot friendlier than other PetSmarts. The store seems cleaner than other PetSmarts. Besides all that it is the same as any other typical PetSmarts you come across.

I go to this PetSmart out of convenience. Sometimes my buns and cavy run out of pellets and bedding and this is a great location from where I live. Some things are pricey, but if you manage to use your PetSmart card and even find coupon deals on-​line (you can print them and bring them in or just order from their website), sometimes that makes up for it.
The staff seem friendly enough, although there is one employee in particular that isn’t very nice (I won’t name any names). She seems more intent on speaking negatively of people than helping a customer out. It will be obvious who it is once you get there. I’ve witnessed this on numerous occasions. Luckily, there are other staff members that are happy to help you. As the saying goes, «you can’t let one rotten apple spoil the whole barrel.»
That’s the only reason I gave this PetSmart 3 Stars. Maybe when I return, this lady’s attitude will change and I can update with higher ratings.

I love this PetSmart location! We have had nothing but positive experiences here. The employees are friendly and are there to help when you have questions. We took our puppy here for training as well, and had a wonderful experience! We learned a lot, and our trainer went above and beyond to teach us what we needed to know. She also comes and says «Hi» to us and our puppy everytime we’re in the store, even after we’ve completed training. She answers any training questions we may have anytime we’re there, which is great! Yay PetSmart!

This is actually a pretty nice PetSmart. The workers are very friendly and helpful and they are especially nice to the animals that come in. The store is clean and well maintained.
They have a ton of dog and cat food in stock and an insane toy aisle! My dogs were very happy kids once we left :)

Jenelle is the best groomer around. Ask for her and you can’t go wrong.

I stopped taking my dog here. There was just something about this place she did not like. She always looked great afterwards, but having her whining at me for ten minutes on the drive home was really disturbing. This is a dog that is always happy, never utters anything but weird, Husky waroo noises, and even loves going to the vet. There was just something about their process that was freaking her out, despite the fact that she goes through the same exact grooming process at another location.
That said, the store is always clean and the employees are always friendly and helpful. I always notice their prices are WAY higher in the store than online and I have no idea why that is.
