Wonderful Buffet

This place doesn’t even deserve a star at all. food was cold and disgusting. Service sucked. Will never be going back.

Your typical Chinese buffet it was ok I’ve had better Chinese buffet and I’ve had worse I thought the food was ok some of that could have been just slightly warmer and maybe a little more seasoning but still good others parts of it were real good would I come back perhaps

I don’t even want to give 1 star! We got there right when dinner was starting and they took forever to bring the dinner food out. All the food was gross!!! The main lady was rude and grabbed the soup spoon from my 6 year old daughters hand and told her «that’s enough». My husband tried everything and he did not like 1 thing. This was our first time here and it will be our last time, NEVER AGAIN! $ 60 check for rude service and nasty food!

My wife & I finally stopped at Wonderful Buffet on the way back from Seattle Saturday 08÷01÷15. We were pleasantly surprised. Good price for Sat. night dinner. $ 11.99/ person & $ 1.50 for fountain drink & refills. Service was good. Hard working & friendly staff. Food was average good selection Chinese dishes, sushi, seafood &limited dessert & soft serve machine. Some items I didnt care for such as crab delight which I didnt know what the delight was. Maybe cream cheese. I didnt care for sweet when I expected savory. Shrimp came in 3 to 4 varieties. Somewhat tasty. Cleanliness was good. Décor can use some updating especially the washroom walls & stall doors. Very loud & ugly. Seals on fixtures need refreshing. Looked awful but it was clean. Pretty good crowd a good sign. Also food trays quick to be replenished. We ll try again

Typical Asian Buffett. My favorite is crab rangoon. The «fried rice» is NOT authentic asian fried rice. Wish it was. Lo Mein is flavorless. Barely any vegtables in it. NOT authentic Lo Mein either. Litterally is spaghetti noodles in oil… tastes that way too.

Was here for dinner on Friday. Nothing fancy but okay for the price, $ 13. Don’t know why others gave such a bad review. If you go to a mall and order three item combo Chinese meal, you are looking at $ 9 already. This is all you can eat which comes with fresh fruits! I will stop by for a quick grab and go kinda meal.

It was greasy but not salty! oh my god it is very rare for a buffet to keep a sodium low. Others might think it was bland but it was just perfect for me. They had nice variety of seafood. Three different styled shrimps were good. nom. I like the delightful version, sautéed with veggies. I really didn’t care for the sushi though. I understand most items are fried and you really get what you pay for. I liked little bit of everything. From meat, seafood, and to fruits. There will not be many options if you cant have one of those three.

Worst Chinese buffet my husband and I have have ever been to! We were there on a Saturday around 2:30. They had very little to chose from and the food they did have out was old, cold, and stale! My husband and I pretty much paid $ 22 to eat rice and wontons! Do not waste your time or money going here! If we could give them no stars we would! Very disappointing!!!

The weeds surrounding the place should have been a tip off. Will never return due to cold, tough &/​or tasteless food. Really, there are other better places for a similar price.

This is the worst food we ever had, everything was cold and tasteless. The price for this awful food was way to much.
Would not recommend this to my worst friend. We will never go back.
Maybe the health department should check them out.

Wonderful? No. Decent? Sure. Typical Chinese buffet but downscaled. The selection was lacking but the food was hot. They have your typical staples, the crab legs, broccoli and beef, General TSO, sweet and sour chicken etc. The broccoli and beef is very bland and had almost no flavor to the beef itself. The broccoli was very fresh however.
They do have a Mongolian grill but they were not cooking on it nor did I see any selections for it. Bummer because I would have went with that.
Beverages are not included but really cheap. $ 1.25 for soda and tea. The beer seemed really cheap! $ 2.50 for a bud.
Typical Chinese Buffet desserts. The weird flaky cookies, small cakes, soft serve and puddings.
Service was pleasant. The place is super clean which is what I like to see in a buffet setting.
it was really reasonably priced but I am not sure we would seek it out to eat just due to lack of selection.

Wonderful Buffet is NOT wonderful!!!
I had two starving kids who wanted Chinese & I’d heard good things about this place, but obviously things have changed.
I was mostly in the mood for sushi, & while I understand that Chinese buffets don’t typically offer the most gourmet selection, I asked to see what they had & the hostess assured me that more would be coming out. Little did I know that «more» meant the same imitation crab rolled with the same three ingredients in different order.
When I’m paying the dinner price I expect the dinner entrees to be available at that time, not an hour later when we’re leaving. Even the edamame was cold & tasteless. My 8 year old can make edamame in the microwave that tastes better. We won’t be back.

This place is decent. It has the traditional Chinese style food. Staff are OK, prices are neither great nor bad. Food is good — not the greatest, but not bad either. Its definitely worth the money. Just don’t expect to be impressed.

When they first opened they were great then as time went by all the food turns out cold people will get sick if temps aren’t in proper range won’t go back again I told them they just look at you like they don’t hear you?

I always see people recommend this buffet on Facebook, but when I went I felt like they had a pretty poor selection and that most of the food was just blah. For me, it wasn’t worth it.

wonderful, not anymore! we have been monthly regulars for over 2 yrs. this was the first time we were treated rudely. it was also the fourth time we had to point out that food was cold on the hot steam tables. i have worked in food service, food should be hot off the pan in hothold. waitress and hostess confered (in something we couldnt understand) before we were seated and they made sure to tell us we would be charged dinner price (4:09pm) which we knew coming in. the service was lackluster and they really didnt seem to care we were upset. i doubt we will be back.

Full disclosure: We went on a Wednesday night after 7 pm. However, there were quite a few customers eating when we arrived, as well as others arriving after we did.
It was like visiting a ghost-​town buffet. The trays had leftovers from the dinner rush getting overcooked and dried out. There was hardly any fresh food in the hot food section, and they were really slow to bring out new food even when the trays were totally empty. When they did bring out new food, they would not necessarily bring out fresh cooked food, but more leftover food from the kitchen. For example, there was perpetually one sausage in a large tray, my buddy took it, and then a few minutes later it was replenished with just one more overcooked sausage.
The sushi was soggy and stale.
The food was dry and lacking in flavor.
Several items were mislabeled, for example, the tray marked «Clams» had meatballs or something, and a try labeled «Tofu and…» was actually calamari… and on and on. The General’s Chicken (one of my favorites) was actually a heavily breaded orange chicken.
The soft serve ice-​cream/​yogurt? tasted like chemical soup.
The fortune cookie was so stale and funky I actually spit it out of my mouth.
After all this, the bill came to $ 26+ for two people with no drinks.
I have eaten at some pretty bad buffets, but this one takes the cake. I will not be back.

We were big fans of Wonderful Buffet when it opened a few years ago. The new owners had done some renovation and the place was clean and well lit. They had a wide selection of salads and cold platters, sushi, soups, Mongolian Grill, entrees and desserts (including mini cakes, fruit and soft serve ice cream). The staff were always friendly and attentive. Through the years the food selection and quality have deteriorated. When we dine there recently, the interiors looked tired and not as clean as it used to be. However, the service was still good. The biggest disappointment was the food — the sushi was horrible, the Mongolian Grill served frozen meat, soups were bland and the entrees were also bland and did not have as much variety. Before we could finish our meal, three busloads of travelers from Canada walked in for lunch. That immediately filled the restaurant. I guess this is where they take the tour buses for lunch before heading back to Vancouver. People were just pushing their way through the buffet and it got very loud in the restaurant. No wonder the quality has deteriorated…

Wonderful buffet? Mmmm… I would go more with «Ok Buffet». The people working there were nice, but for the price ($ 26.00 for 2 people) the selection was lacking, and they were very slow to refill empty food items. The taste of the food was just alright. The atmosphere wasn’t bad, but nothing special at all. Honestly, next time we get Chinese food, we will probably go up the road to Panda Express.

I went here cuz I love Chinese food and I was craving some. Well, this wasn’t good at all. Terrible variety, and the food was not tasty at all. This was worse than any buffet i have been to, and i have been to every chinese buffet there is to go to.
