Oh my this is a must try for anyone! The food is unlike any place around here. The detail and quality of the deserts, sandwiches and soup is amazing. The Bologna and truffle cheese sandwich isn’t like any other Bologna sandwich like I grew up eating. The tomato basil soup with grilled cheese will have you hooked!

I admit to being a foodie and was so looking forward to having lunch here with a friend. First, was there at around 12:15 and already they were out of their «special BLT» soup which I wanted to pair with a half Turkey Pesto sandwich. Okay, wasn’t into Tomato Basil (especially in winter months) so I went with a whole Turkey Pesto which seemed to get a lot of kudos. First of all, the bread was fabulous! The rest, not so much. From where I sit, the ingredients used were not up to par and actually seemed to clash. I would just order the bread next time! My friend had the Tomato Basil soup with half Turk. P. sandwich. Afterwards, she had to take an antiacid while we were out shopping. Not good.

Awesome sandwiches! Everything made in-​house or from local suppliers. The Foothills Roast Beef is piled high with thinly sliced, super tender, medium rare beef, blue cheese, horseradish sauce, arugula and onion straws. The Fried Bologna and Truffle Cheese sandwich is an amazing gourmet spin on a childhood favorite. And the Foothills Rueben is equally piled high, tender corn beef, and served on fresh-​baked thick slices of seeded rye. Then there are the fresh-​baked desserts… Good thing we don’t live any closer or none of my clothes would fit!

Wonderful quality out of a hard working crew. Fresh is the name of this bakery’s game. The pricing is actually a little humble given the quality and the portions are generous. They have limited selection of vegan and vegetarian options. Very meaty and heavy; a few lighter options would be nice. They tell me that Maryville doesn’t get croissant’s; i hope they are wrong and our folks get the buttery flakey delicacy. A fresh croissant is a gift from God.

I had a scone and a chocolate croissant; both exceptional.
I wish they had espresso some plates for breakfast.

Warm, clean, retro atmosphere. Friendly employees, fresh and delicious food, reasonable prices for quality food.

The food gets 5 stars HANDS DOWN. I have never had so so meal here, every sandwich, soup salad has been amazing.
The service gets 2 stars. I travel 90% I have never encountered a business with so consistently poor regard for customer service. You almost always feel like you are somehow stretching their patience… even if you are just rendering the greeting of the day and paying… it’s weird.
Environment gets 5 stars. The store is supper clean. It’s the customers who make you feel welcome when you walk through the door.

I tried this place when it first opened, and waited to write a review because there was something missing… Breakfast options. Don’t get me wrong, what I had was delicious, but there weren’t a lot of options at first. That has clearly been remedied, and now there’s a more than sufficient array of great breakfast items from chocolate croissants to iced cinnamon rolls to apple turnover and the likes.
We grabbed a blueberry muffin (big as my head!) and an apple turnover. Both delicious, and everything you’d expect from the fine Foothills Milling Company people (especially if you’ve eaten at their restaurant in the main section of Maryville!). That’s why I was disappointed the first time, but knew I’d love it i I came back. But breakfast isn’t the hero of this bakery… Obviously, it’s the bread, and the breakfast stuff combined, but surprisingly, or not surprisingly, the sandwiches they serve for lunch all look so mouthwatering and tough to pass up that I’m going to have to find ridiculous reasons to make my way to Maryville, just so I can get an opportunity to try them all!

There were hardly any parking spaces at lunchtime, a good sign. The place was packed & we had to stand in line a few minutes. The bakery items are AMAZING, oh my gosh I can’t begin to tell how good everything was that we ordered. The Turkey Pesto sandwich was packed with meat & goat cheese … delicious. The Asian wrap was outstanding, one of the best wraps I’ve ever tried. We brought home a cinnamon roll, apple turnover, blueberry muffin & monkey bread. All were fantastic. EAT HERE!!! VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

I love unique lunch spots! I had a difficult time deciding what to go with as they all sounded great. Tried the jalapeño pimento cheese with Benton’s bacon, arugula and a fried egg. Absolutely perfect! My roast beef sandwich was absolutely delicious, the staff was courteous, the food is reasonably priced and the orders roll out fast at lunch … What more could you ask for?

If there were six stars, this place would get them.
It is worth every penny if you want a truly outstanding lunch.
We have been twice and both had different sandwiches each time so we’ve tried four different ones and they were all just outstanding.
We have never gotten the pastries but I am sure they are equally delicious.
I do wish they had more choices for drinks

First time here. Had heard great things and was not disappointed. The roast beef sandwich was incredible. The place is somewhat pricey for sure but it really is good.

Was never a doubt this place would be great. I had the pulled pork bahn mi but there were 5 other things I wanted to try. Pork had been smoked, pickled veggies were great, bread was great. Nice little space too. Awesome.

First off before you go if you want to see what’s on the daily menu, go to Facebook because that’s where they are posting their daily menu.
If you are familiar with Foothills Milling Company, then now you will know that they opened up a sister place called the Foothills Bakery. This is where all the breads, desserts etc are being made for Foothills Milling Company.
I was so excited to find out that this place had opened as Foothills Milling Company is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. This place is doing it right.
Now for the things I’ve tried and enjoyed…
Pastries & Desserts: Best Blueberry Muffins around, scrumptious crescent rolls, delicious key lime pie, fabulous cheesecakes, delectable buttermilk pies, juicy Apple strudels, cinnamon rolls, and wonderful monkey bread!
Lunch Sandwiches/​Items: Tender Pulled Pork Bahn mi sandwich, freaking awesome Muffaletta, juicy flavorful grilled chicken wraps, and oh my their house made sausages are wonderful!
Here is an absolute winner for a lunch spot. If you ever wished Foothills Milling Company was open for lunch, well here ya go folks, this is their version for lunch and you won’t be disappointed. This place is definitely my new favorite lunch spot and for take home sweets in Maryville. If you find yourself in the area, do yourself a favor and go check it out.
Now the only dilemma is they are open until 4:00, but they stop serving sandwiches/​lunch food at 3:00. So make sure you get there before then, unless you just want a blueberry muffin, then you are good to go.

The best ingredients come together to create the best deli sandwiches, bread, charcuterie and deserts you can get! This is how its done and without pretense. Expect to linger a while if you order a sandwich its all made fresh. Go. Just Go. Muffaletta, Bahn Mi, Mortadella…

Amazing! I’ve eaten here three times and it’s been excellent. They frequently change the menu so you never know what you’re in for!

The hot Bologna truffle cheese sandwich is incredible. Best Bologna ANYWHERE. Seating is very limited here. Get there early or order takeout.
