Changed to one star from 2 after husband and I both have food poisoning from this meal! Burgers are great. No argument. But the fries suck(they are a great cut but seasonings are non existent) and the service is kind of horrible. The server got almost everything wrong and argued(ARGUED!) with us when we tried to correct our order. Over priced, except for the burgers, which admittedly are amazing. Not worth the bad service though, even if it is worth the money.

The food was subpar and the manager openly scolded and embarrassed our waitress. It wasn’t the worst but it wasn’t the best in any way. I left a big tip for the poor girl that had to serve us. She took our order properly but the kitchen screwed it up yet the management took it out on her in front of us. The burgers are fine and the fries are what you’d expect at a home town diner but the treatment of employees was enough to send me running.

TC’s Grill has an awesome diner atmosphere — checkered floor and old gas station signs on the wall. The service was fantastic! My biggest disappointment in the place is that there’s simply not a ton on the menu — you have your choice between steak, burger, chicken or salad in some variation. I got the sirloin and a baked potato. The sirloin was cooked just to my liking, but it was so over seasoned I struggled to eat it. I had to scrape off the pound of pepper seared to the outside of the steak, which made it difficult to eat. The baked potato, however, was pretty tasty. I was also supposed to get a side salad with it; I didn’t realize it until I glanced at a menu upon leaving, but I never got it. All in all, if you’re craving a burger or chicken sandwich and fries, this is probably a great place to come. But if you want anything outside of that, you’re better served going somewhere else. A club sandwich and six ounce sirloin with sodas was about $ 30.

Breakfast potatoes are gross and bacon is far overcooked. The staff are friendly but breakfast needs some serious work. The burgers are ok.

Mrs. Reviewer and I visited again this week and TC’s remains outstanding with great food and wonderful service. Kelsey was our waitress on this trip. Her friendly and attentive service was outstanding!

My favorite burger joint in the area. Love their fries, but wish they were open on Sundays.

When we first went to TC’s Grill, we had crispy fries, a great well-cooked burger, and we enjoyed it. Always seems crowded around lunch. We have eaten here about 4 – 5 times. On a recent visit, we arrived about 4 pm… ordered cheeseburgers and were really looking forward to some great fries… Boy, were we ever disappointed! What we got was a pile of grease-soaked fried potato«pieces», little dark pieces that looked like they had been warmed over, or recycled from lunch. I complained to the waitress, and she was nice, apologetic, and brought us a small plate of «more of the same». We left them uneaten. Also, we ordered our burgers cooked Medium… and they were cooked Rare… and we ate only parts of them. The salad was okay, blue cheese dressing made it better. Upon paying with the cashier, we asked if there was a new cook. A man behind the counter who appeared managerial [but didn’t introduce himself] turned and replied… no, Michael has been here 3 years… but he didn’t inquire of us if we had any complaints or compliments… we found that enlightening and were surprised he seemed so disinterested in his customers’ dining experience. We won’t be eager to return here, and that’s too bad, because we really did enjoy it on some of our visits.

Great breakfast and even better prices. I had the Western Omlette.

I ate here with my through-hiking sister after we’d finished a 40 mile section. Post hike meal experiences are important. This place satisfied every need. The burgers were amazing and our waitress Jennifer was maybe the nicest waitress I’ve ever had and this is coming from a Houston restaurant snob.

Want a good burger? Well look no further than TC’s! Every time we’ve been it’s been the same. Juicy, cooked to perfection, tasty burger. Fries are also good with the seasoning they use. While I can’t say too much about their onion rings, others liked them but I thought they were a little on the greasy side. Of course that isn’t going to hinder me from eating the burgers! Deserts, forget it! You’ll be so full on the burgers that you won’t want anything else. BUT… Just incase you do, their cakes are also delicious along with their old fashioned malts and milk shakes. If you’re in the area for breakfast, make sure you stop by. Their omelets are huge and the prices are still just and good for the quality and quantity of food.
