Was so disappointed when we came. This review is more on how we got cheated out with our money on New Year’s Eve, on the event we bought. We were so excited with the hard rock for New Year’s Eve, biggest waist of money I have ever spent. We got the after party tickets, which says to get there for 12:30, we got there at 12:40. First they were giving us a hard time to get in, even though tickets were on call they said it was over from the bouncer right when we got there, but after 20 minutes arguing with him he eventually let us in. So now it’s already 1:10, we dance for maybe like 5 minutes then they turn the lights on. Are you kidding me??? The place was closing at 1:30. Why would we pay 32 $ a ticket for 5 minutes, my girlfriend and I were so disappointed. Biggest waist of money I have ever spent. I want my money back! Called them on the situation and they never responded.

This was my first trip to a Hard Rock Café in about a dozen years, and the first time going to the Foxwoods location. If the prices were more in line with a Chili’s or Applebees, it would be worth the 4th star. However $ 12.95 for about 8 wings and 15 bucks for burgers is on the high side for what you pay for. I have to admit the food was decent but what you really pay for is the experience of the memerorbillia and the music videos that are playing. You never know what you might see. Overall, I would return for a special occasion, but for a similar sit down restaurant at Foxwoods, I would go to the Veranda Café for a better value.

My wife and I, as well as her brother and his wife, dined here approximately a week ago. My wife and I are Hard Rock Café regulars, but this was the first or maybe second time that her brother and his wife had been to one. This location is situated in a casino, which means that it is a bit of walking from the time you park your car to actually get to the restaurant — regardless of where you manage to park your car. Once we made our way to the restaurant, it was one of the more interesting that we’ve been in — at least in terms of its layout — because it had these really high ceilings which allowed for memorabilia to stretch out the wall, as well as for there to be much larger memorabilia then we have seen displayed on the walls of many of the Hard Rock Cafes we have visited. Anyway, the service was attentive, but a little slow — particularly when it came to the amount of time that we waited between ordering our food and receiving the food, as well as waiting for refills. But the food itself was fairly standard fare, except for the ribs — my wife had ribs and pulled pork, while my brother-in-law had ribs and chicken. Both commented about how great their meal — especially the ribs — were, also mentioning the BBQ sauce. Overall, we’d go back.

You know what, I’m going to give this 4 stars. Not because the food was great or the drinks were good, no. I’m going to give this place 4 stars because I grew up in the 1980s and Hard Rock was a destination restaurant(back then). They still sell the classic shirts, and I got to enjoy some nostalgia. Side note: The drinks were far too expensive.

Wanting a quick, no fuss dinner before a show at Foxwoods, my dining partner and I chose Hard Rock Café. We remembered having some somewhat surprisingly impressive nachos at another Hard Rock location, so we figured that, being a chain, there should be some kind consistency with such a simple dish. Thus, to Hard Rock Café we went. We arrived on a Friday night at about 6:00 p.m. We went over to the hostess stand, had our IDs checked, and was told it would be just a short wait and to wait to the side. I asked, specifically, how long the wait would be, as we were trying to make a show, and she said«about five minutes, we are seating the party before you.» The party before us was then called over from the side, told to wait at the hostess stand, and then asked to wait at the bottom of the stairs. About twelve seconds later(not sure why we were asked to move off to the side when our table was ready so shortly), we were asked to follow that same progression. It reminded me of being at an airpoint with the multiple steps and check points. However, the short wait time couldn’t be beat! Once seated, our very friendly, bubbly waitress offered us a drink menu and dinner menu. I noted there were no prices on the drink list, which I found to be a little irritating — this is a kitchy chain eatery, not a michelin star restaurant, the prices should appear on the menu. The lack of prices would not be much of an issue if the waitress were clearer about pricing and sizing. I ordered a mojito, as I did not want a drink with any kind of mix in it, and this seemed to be one of the few without. I was asked if I wanted to upgrade it to a larger size, but I declined. My dining partner ordered a beer on draught(there were about 12 options, five of which were IPA«craft beers» and the rest were largely basic domestic beers(bud)). He was also asked if he wanted a larger size. He asked her what the size difference was and said it is a few ounces larger and it comes with cheaper refills.” My boyfriend was sold. When our beers arrived, he instantly said that he felt a little silly ordering the larger size, as the«upgraded» beer was a whole two ounces larger. As for the food, we went with the nachos and decided to add the«Southwest chicken» for $ 5.95. We were also asked if we wanted guacamole, but when we were told it was an additional charge for already expensive nachos, we declined. When our nachos arrived, it was definitely a sizable platter, but I noticed immediately that the advertized pico was just diced tomatoes. There was a sprinkling of scallions; a hefty amount of raw, sliced jalepenos; a scoop of sour cream, and plenty of shredded cheese. However, I could not see any of the chicken. Preparing to call the waitress over and tell her the cook accidentally left off the chicken, my boyfriend exclaimed, «found one!» As we ate our nachos, I counted a total of seven bits(I say bits because all pieces were under one inch) of gray-looking chicken. We ended up picking around them, feeling silly for paying an additional six dollars for a quarter of a chicken breast that seems like it had been sitting at the bottom of a prep container for at least a day. The nachos also had what appeared to be a very thin avocado-purée drizzle on top. It tasted strongly of black pepper. I hoped that this was not their guacamole, as I felt bad for the avocado who died to make that sorry sauce. Eating around the avocado drizzle and the chicken, the nachos themselves were not bad, but just lacked a punch of freshness. If there were a true pico or even a salsa, the nachos would have been far better, as they overall felt dry. We ended up using the sour cream almost as a dip because they were so lacking in moisture. Oddly, the chips also tasted as if someone sprinkled each with cajun seasoning. Not bad, really, but just something that did not seem to fit. The nachos were nothing like the nachos we remembered having at the other Hard Rock location. When it came time for our bill, we realized that the larger drink sizes my boyfriend agreed to earlier actually involved buying a souvineer hard rock pint glass. We had no interest in buying a pint glass and were not informed by our waitress that by ordering a larger size, we were getting(and paying for) a pint glass, which amounted to almost $ 12 for one beer with glass — it would have been $ 7 for a beer without the glass). We had no need for the glass, but did not feel that it was worth arguing over. We ended up leaving Hard Rock feeling a little duped. Thankfully, we were spending the night at the casino and were able to pick up the darn glass the next day(you bring your receipt to the Hard Rock store across from the restaurant), otherwise we would not have bothered even picking up the glass, as we did not want to carry it around all night. Just be clear that if you’re ordering the«larger» drink, you’re also ordering a silly souvineer drink glass.

I don’t see what the negative reviews wrote. Greeted at entrance, greeted upon seating at the bar, order taken immediately, drinks were made strong and well, food was as great as any other Hard Rock I have been to and exactly how I was expecting it to be, the bartenders we’re extremely attentive, and overall I had a great fulfilling visit. I’d absolutely go there again and again.

I chose HardRock for my BDay dinner as part of my casino weekend with family & friends. We had a great time. They dont do table reservations BUT when we called the day before, the girl who anwered the phone said she will add our names to the list half hr before our planned dinner time so we could get in fast. We got lucky with that one. The food was OK. It wasnt amazing, but the atmosphere was great, they played a perfect mix of music & had tvs everywhere u turned playing sports & music videos, & I loved that they do bday shout outs a little differently. Our waiter randomly told me to follow him to the top of the stairs, called out for everyones attention, shouted out my bday & had me take a shot of tequila in front of the whole restaurant. That was cool. I would return for a casual night out with friends.

The kids wants dinner at Hard Rock Café, so we went. BIGMISTAKE! Restaurant was not crowded, service was spotty. My son wanted ribs… They were out of ribs! My sister in law wanted the barbecue chicken… They were out of that too. Totally frustrating!

Bad. One word that can sum this up is bad. I ordered a rack of ribs and it tasted and felt like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for days. The bones were soft and I inadvertently was able to bite through it. Service was aggravating as the person at the door checks your ID and as the bartender(note: the bar was dead. 2 other people were already sitting at the bar, my friends who I was meeting with) watched the door person check my ID as I sat at the bar I was ID’d again. This seems like utter nonsense. If the restaurant can’t trust their door person, why have a position for this person? Anyways, I guess it was ultimately my fault for thinking that I can go to a chain restaurant and have an enjoyable dinner. I will not be returning.

the boyfriend and i had a great dinner here on a recent saturday night. we were in the mood to nosh, but not in the mood to pay the prices at some of the more expensive options. so, we settled on hard rock, even though i’m not a huge lover of chain restaurants. considering it was a saturday around 7pm, we were expecting a wait. 30 — 40 minutes was doable, considering we were in a casino and there were a million things to distract us whilst we waited. the wait-time was accurate, and we received a text that our table was ready, right at 40 minutes. IDs are checked at the front entrance, even before you enter the restaurant. our server was very friendly, and attentive enough without being overbearing. i started with a southern rock, which is a mix of jack daniels, vodka, lemonade, and other deliciousness. there is a wealth of custom cocktails on the menu, as well as a large assortment of wine and beer. for food, we both got burgers. the boyfriend got the hickory barbecue bacon cheeseburger. it came with seasoned fries, and he added a side caesar to start. first, let me say– the caesar was a thing of beauty. the menu states that their dressings are house-made, and i believe it. one of the best caesar salads i’ve ever had(and i’m so glad he let me share!). he seemed very happy with his burger which came stacked with carmelized onions, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, and hickory smoked bacon. i went with the tango burger, which was a definite indulgence for me. these are 2 petite patties that are covered in sloppy joes, topped with american, cheddar, and bleu cheeses, and finished with a horseradish mayo. i’ll be very honest: the burger was delicious. this is exactly what you want to eat when you are starving, and possibly a few drinks in. that said, there was absolutely no bleu cheese or horseradish mayo. i’m not complaining, and i didn’t say anything to our server, but they were definitely not on my burger. the seasoned fries that came with our burgers were hot, crisp, and satisfying. we requested a side of ranch dressing for dipping and, while the flavor was good, the texture was very watery. i also added a side of the citrus cole slaw to my meal. it was cheap($ 1.80!), and had a nice though mild tang from the citrus, but it could have used a touch more of the dressing. overall, i’d say this is one of the best spots for value at foxwoods, if you’re looking for a full-service, sit-down experience. our food was very good, as was the service, and atmosphere. just a bonus that they were playing music videos of metal bands from the 80s. i would certainly recommend, and will likely be back during a future trip to foxwoods.

H and I came in around midnight after an amazing comedy show at the Grand Theatre at Foxwoods. We had an hour’s drive back to West Hartford… So we figured a late night snack couldn’t hurt. I had a grrrrreat Shirley Temple. H had a hard apple ale. That was the best part of the evening. We ordered the jumbo combo app and we’re deeply disappointed at the lack of flavor(lookin’ at you, you sad excuse for an onion ring!) and seasoning(boneless wings and wings). The spinach dip wasn’t bad, but the accompanying crackers were stale. Womp womp. The apps alone were enough to deter me from ordering anything, but my optimistic H decided to order the mushroom and bacon burger– only to be let down. Even after waiting a little over 20 min(from receiving the apps to the entrée), the burger was lukewarm and tasteless. Moreover, although our waitress started out kind, she became very aloof and unresponsive to our concerns. I’ve had better food from Hard Rock. This restaurant does not do justice to the chain. Alas, there are also better and more cost efficient places in the casino to grab a bite.

Fun place to grab a bite while at Foxwoods. Plenty of cool memorabilia hanging on the walls, and definitely a fun touristy vibe. Definitely the most lively restaurant at Foxwoods. The menu is exactly what you expect. Basic American food. A little overpriced but you’re at a casino in a Hard Rock Café, so what do you expect? The bar is huge, and that’s where I’d recommend sitting. They DO accept Foxwoods points. Also, you will be ID’d twice. Once at the entrance and again at the bar. So if you’re not 21 you’ll have to grab a table.

Food– equivalent to Appleby’s!!! Found a bug fly out of my salad. nice! Service– skank waitresses who are taking shots at bar and then come back to wait on tables. Atmosphere– playing metal rock, place is empty. Price– $ 14 for burger and $ 14 for canned vegetables on a salad w corn syrup dressing. Drinks $ 15 for terrible cocktails. In conclusion: if you are pure white trash, you will love this place!

Sometimes simple food is the best thing in the world. When it comes to Casinos/gambling and the inevitable consumption of alcohol, simple food is good food. The ribs were surprisingly fall off the bone good, and the buffalo wings were yummy! Would definitely suggest coming here if you’re looking for simple and good food.

Not bad! The layout was great, as it was one big area(not the usual labyrinth the HRC’s are), the staff was much better and nicer than other HRC’s(I’m talking to you NYC… so snotty). Good music, obvi, Tv’s well placed so you could see the videos. The food was fine. Really good french fires! The chicken tenders and pulled chicken sandwich were good, but it all seems a little pre-made, if you know what I mean. The drink menu was a bit limited. Overall, I still really liked it, and would def go back. Great for beer, fried finger foods, and of course HARDROCK

My bucket list is to attempt to visit all HRC locations! So, I’m now crossing off Foxwoods location! I did not dine in at the restaurant, so my review is based solely on visiting each of the HRC locations and not specific to the restaurant.
