Bought some candy here today. It was delicious. However, my complaint is that I ordered two portions of dark chocolate covered almonds, each cup was supposed to have two candies each. Well, the top part was the regular size cluster of 4 or 5 almonds and then underneath, a little tiny version of two almonds. It made me mad that they were so deceitful. No reason to do this.

We didn’t stop here for the candies/chocolates, as much as for the ice cream … and that gets two thumbs up. The toasted coconut is amazing, the cake batter(yes, cake batter) was unlike any I’d tried before … very different and good. And our toddler got the cotton candy(YES, ice cream) and it tasted exactly like the real stuff — but no messy 3-YO face afterwards. Lots of other flavors we tasted, all exceptional. OK — and the chocolates and candy — it is a mecca. Tasted some of the fudge bark flavors(oreo/white chocolate very good), lots of home made chocolates and treats, and bucket/wall full of the traditional stuff kids(and BIG kids) will love. Fun place to visit.

Every year my employer receives a few assortment boxes of Ghelfi’s candies/chocolates. By far the best are their truffles. Exquisite. Better than Fannie May or Godiva’s. Not cheap though. Anyway, when I took a trip to Cape Cod in Nov 2007(I am from Wisconsin) we took a little side trip so I could buy some truffles. As usual they were delicious. They also ship their products.
